Stockroom Inventory Limits

If you've been reading the forums, one thing we need to do to help
address lag and to prevent future issues is to reduce the number of
replicas in the game. Since almost half of all replicas are in shops, so
we must bite the bullet and place inventory limitations on shops.

The maximum number of items in shops will be 250 items. When you enter
your stockroom, you will immediately see (on look) how many items are in
the shop and if you are over the maximum limit. If you go over that
number, ALL items in your stockroom will decay (until stock reaches the
maximum amount).

We will be putting in a manse shop artifact that will allow you to
upgrade the shop to add another +250 items to the maximum. This upgrade
can stack up to a total maximum of 1000 items. (This artifact has not
been released yet.)

For those who own manse shops or are interested in purchasing a manse
shop:

o All current manse shops will receive one +250 upgrade. (Thus, if you
currently own a manse shop, it will have a maximum of 500 items.)
o The cost of new manse shops is reduced to 750 credits.

Finally, we understand that this will be painful for some shopkeepers
and, though you will see warnings that your shop is over the maximum
limit (if it is), ITEMS WILL NOT DECAY IF YOU ARE OVER THE LIMIT AT THIS
TIME. We will be giving a grace period of one month before we start
implementing item decay in stockrooms if you are over the maximum limit.
