I personally use Mac OS X and *nix mostly. I use TinyFugue (tf) as a client, running in a terminal. I wish we had something similar to zMud, but alas, we do not.
I have kind of a nice setup, though. TinyFugue itself is installed on a server computer I have in my basement. This computer is set up to listen on port 125 for SSH connections. Upon connecting and logging in, I see a prompt of MUDs I want to connect to (Aetolia, Imperian, Lusternia basically). Upon selecting one, the server loads up tf with the settings and files for the MUD I chose. It works pretty well, as I can access my settings, triggers, and aliases from anywhere with an SSH client.
In addition, I have been painstakingly working on porting and heavily modifying a development mapper from another MUD to work with Lusternia. It's not exactly an 'automapper' -- as you must manually do any overlapping exits and other things (and will get really messed up if you don't know what you're doing), but it works well enough for autowalking and the like. It works by creating a proxy between your client and Lusternia, so it runs in the background and directly interrupts commands you send to it (and doesn't send them to Lusternia), and can parse and modify things Lusternia is sending. It's written in C in case anyone was wondering.

So now that I've spieled on about mappers and what-have-you... I'm Just wondering what operating system and, more importantly, what clients you all were using for Lusternia.

Original Windows 98 and the JavaClient (what can I say, I like the bars). Hopefully I'll get a new computer soon, and that will most likely have Windows 2k on it.

I was on Mac OS 10 and Cantrip (on Achaea) for about 3 years.
Only recently did I make the rather daunting switch to zmud and PC.
Getting the hang of it.. slowly!

Hmph! Everyone knows 98 towers greatly over ME. Any school network tech who deserves any sort of financial compensation for his work should have the school on Windows 2000 anyway.

Windows ME (*cringe*) and zMUD here.
Just recently fix zMUD, which had been broken for quite a while.

It's all about MUSHclient. Perfect for everything. I use Windows 98, because i'm cheap.

Windows XP Home(Non-warez'd version, one of about 6 in the world that exists it seems ) running zMUD 7.05 (registered about 5 years ago)
As an aside, Zolas, any chance I could get the source to that mapping system? I'd love to see it.

Windows XP and Mushclient!

Personally, I'm stuck on Windows 98 and use Wintin.Net to connect to Lusternia.
Wintin has the easiest reading...ability, but the triggers are pretty damn crappy.
I use the Java client online for writing posts and GHELP scrolls. It's so much easier...
