Ok, I RP a pacifist and while I am eternally grateful for the influence skillset, I really feel as though a lot of the game is based solely on killing things. I have been trying to come up with a list of quests and other moneymaking schemes that do not involve violence. The list is very short, including only a couple of honours quests, and the cow milking and sheep shearing comm quests. Are there really no more or am I just not looking hard enough? Also, I am looking into maybe creating some kind of clan or cartel based on nonviolence and diplomacy. Ideally we would be the go-betweens for groups in conflicts, and would also be able to provide support to each other and so on. Also, a guild that doesnt belong to a city and doesn't have violent skillsets would be really nice. If you have an interest in these things also or if you would like to comment or add quests to my list, please post here! thanks.

I can think of two Honours quests right now that require no killing. As for commodity quests, you don't HAVE to kill the things. Let someone else do that *like leading a live cow to the butcher and so on*

I don't know much about quests, but influence was made with the intent that you could beg for quest items instead of killing the person for it. Though I don't know how many quests are like that...

I can beg hay from rascals... does that count?

You can actually beg for a lot of things.
If you want to be a vegeterian like tae'dae, but also want to do commodity quests, then go do them for Estelbar. Take the cows to the dairy and the chickens to the coop. No animal killing.

I can only think of one honor's quest that absolutely, positively needs you to kill something to complete it, one other that causes someone's death at the end, and one that ends up with someone getting beat up.

With influence there are plenty of creatures you can "bash" City denizens, village denizens... and I even think some creatures on the plains are influenceable. Then you've got skills like Chop in environments to get wood.
