Syntax: CHANT CARCER
Create a field of magical energy in a location, which has a chance of
preventing others from exiting there.

What Carcer doesn't tell you is that it takes 2 power to create the barrier which is very misleading. I kept using it and didn't even notice my power being used up. Pretty soon all the fun and games stop.

Maybe it's meant to be like that, and they just forgot to put on the ab file it takes 2 power.

Yeah, gateweaving takes 10 power, and the monkey totem doesn't say it has cling. Which it does.

For years in Achaea there were morphs with powers that were unlisted, and plenty of little things that were handy but never mentioned. It'd be nice if AB files were fleshed out a bit more, and kept up to date. While it's cool to learn secrets and tricks from guildmates, it can suck to go for months without realizing basic things. There's plenty of people who still think you have to be in a forest to flow to someone, when in fact only the target has to be in the woods, and there are things like faecall that are very useful, but aren't mentioned anywhere.

Helps for lots of things like hexes too, had no idea how to use the silly things. But yeah, on Achaea, I still don't think druidic quarterstaffs have the AB files. This is like 6 years, people. Lusternia, one up them! biggrin.gif

We do now, but it's bare bones. The last time I checked it didn't have flail in it - apparently it's still a hugely secret thing (!!) even though everyone says to the novices, "Hey. Don't use spin, use flail. It's much better."

The novices can use staffs now? Argh! I could never learn that high as a kiddy!
