Okay, so many people are... well, annoyed, about the state commodity shops are in. "I can never find leather", "cloth is always sold out", etc. Understandable, personally i've killed enough cows to give a steak dinner to a football team every Thursday night for the rest of their lives, and I still never, ever see things like leather or meat in any substantial amount (read: more than 5) at Delport's commodity shop, where I deliver them.
What I suggest is that while things stay how they currently are, with the commodity shops putting out wares every few hours in larger amounts, whenever you deliver a raw item, the shop immediately puts out one of those commodities for sale, for you to buy.
For example: you deliver 8 dead cows to Wallace the Butcher, in Delport. Geraldine immediately puts 8 meat commodities up for sale, as well as putting out a larger amount of stock two or three hours later.
Instant gratification, though in a small amount. It'd promote commodity quests so the cities would be happy, villages would be happy with their commodities, and people using trade skills would be happy too.

This is actually a great concept and it goes along with the idea I had about getting a bonus from the warehouse. But this is such a better way to go about it. I mean if I put 50 trouts in why shouldn't I get an immediate 50 fish? It will of course encourage people to put in before they take out which then increases the overall production every three months or so! Huzzah.
