For 750 credits, you may add the Asp ability to any artifact edged weapon. The Asp ability causes the weapon to hit with a random venom each time, and 1/3 of the time no specific venom message is given, so triggers will not work against it 1/3 of the time. If there are venoms on the weapon, the venoms will come off and the asp effect will not take effect. If there are no venoms, asp will be used.
Perhaps there are plans for it once artifacts are even in in the first place, but this description gives the impression that blunt weapons are not included in this enhancement's scope. If that is so, us big 'eavy smashin' fellows should get some sort of counterpart, perhaps something that gives us an increased ability to inflict deep wounds.
For 750 credits, you made add the Really Freakin' Big ability to any artifact blunt weapon. The Really Freakin' Big ability causes the weapon to hit for an extra number of deep wounds each time, and 1/3 of the time your enemy will simply explode in a flurry of mushy chunks.
Maybe someone less insane could come up with a better one, but the concept is still sound, no matter how much I care to distort it.

That's just the artifact weapons help from Achaea, with the actual weapons removed; I wouldn't assume anything based on that. If artifacts weapons go in, I'm sure they'll update it.

I agree with Sylphas, its just carbon copied from Achaea at the moment. Considering that even 'hitting with a...venom each time' would be a huge bonus in Lusternia, but that we have a venom that works randomly (and I understand works with envenom, though I haven't tested personally) I can imagine the ability will be at least altered. Also, in Achaea you can't envenom bludgeoning weapons, and Lusternia allows it, so you just know it won't apply only to those fancy blademasters.

Yeah, that is just an affect they have in Achaea, it basically is a perma-envenom of Loki, a venom that otherwise cannot be applied to a weapon at all, as it slides off the blade. Loki has a very nice effect of not giving you a message as to what affliction you just got, but for the asp affect, you only got that so often, seems a blade just can't match the effectiveness of the fangs of a serpent. I miss my snake...
Also, on a side note, that idea about 1/3rd of the time, your victim explodes into messy chunks...can we say unbalanced? All loki does is give one venom driven affliction per hit.

The Asp effect is already covered by Cherybon which in actual fact is much more powerful than Asp, as no affliction message is ever given when a DSL is performed by Cherybon. Have to diagnose each time a knight slashes you to pick up the afflictions, only know they have venoms if you get affliction prompts half way through the affliction or you shrug, it's nasty! But fun to fight

I want asp for my mace... I mean, I can envenom them.
Oh, and, there were all kinds of leftovers when we were in beta, I assume you found one more.
