Please tell me there are s'more of us around here. I'm lonely. Here, come boys and girls. Where are the Chicagoans? Demon Dogs, the L, the Field Museum, bad traffic, worse weather - anybody?
Malevius2004-11-23 03:05:19
I'm from Illinois!
A few hours south of chicago or some such. I live in a town surrounded by Cornfields and stuff, heheh.

....
One person?
....
I'm ashamed of my home state.
...
On the other hand, I could claim to be the best Rper in the state with a 50/50 chance...

We're now up to three.
We're now up to three.
Tias2004-11-26 08:58:15
Make that four now. I'm from IL as well, near Chicago too even.
Hazar2004-11-27 06:41:13
Y'know, I was being sarcastic...but there don't seem to be many of us here in Illinois.
Persephonia2004-12-08 09:23:08
Hey, I'm from Illinois too, just the very northwestern corner of the state. I've found that there is NOBODY within a three hour distance that plays any IRE games. Go figure, I guess everyone else around me is too interested in tipping cows and growing pot.
Malicia2005-01-07 17:34:09
I'm from Chicago, hailing from Roger's Park, on the NORTH SIDE. You're right... there doesn't seem to be alot of people from here that play- which is strange, considering the fact that not only is Chicago one of the biggest cities..it's by far the best place to live. *hum* Alright, so I'm biased. That and, I like snow.
Silvanus2005-01-07 22:29:07
We got a foot of snow. How is that its the best place to live
Hazar2005-01-07 22:32:52
I spent three hours shoveling my oversized driveway...my parents wimped out and I had to do the whole thing. It's easily a hundred yards long.
By the time I got to the bottom, the top needed to be shoveled again.
Yes, this is why Chicago is the best place to live.

I loooove the snow, Silvanus. You get used to it after awhile.. Getting frostbitten after a five minute walk/jog to the store! Wonderful. *sparkle*

I used to be from Illinois. From AZ now, where it seems most of the people from Illinois have moved. Of course, they could be attracted to 68 degree weather on Feb 4.

Silvanus2005-03-28 07:18:43
The comeback was amazing
Hazar2005-03-28 07:25:06
It was all Williams.
Somaria2008-09-05 19:38:39
So I'm either moving to TN or to IL (Southern or middle-ish).
Apparently the family wants IL because it's closer to my aunt and stuff.
Will let ya know.

Illinois is where I was born and raised. Used to live in Streator. Now I am in Wisconsin.
I prefer Illinois. The winters are meaner, if not more snowy, the summers more brutal, and I can see the next town over by stepping on a stool.
Sidenote: This is a bit of payback for all those people who said they live near, or moved away from Wisconsin.
