This is a short one that borrows more than a little from Ogden Nash. 'hem.

My taint wyrm is my jolly friend
His tail is long and swir-li-cued
His teeth are sharp, his eyes are bright
His tongue is crisply cur-li-cued

I like to take him to the beach
To hunt for shells and se-di-ment
He helps me build a sand-keep strong
By posing as a pe-di-ment

He digs deep holes to take a nap
For comfort and for pri-va-cy
He falls asleep at half past three
And wakes at ten to five-a-cy

On visits to the Glomdoring
We see our friend the E-bon-glom
We tell him all the news we've heard
And have a merry sing-a-long

My black-scaled friend, my tainted wyrm
He really is a joy-to-know
He'll be there with me to the end
Through ice and dust, through sleet-and-snow

Oh Geomancers young and old
And all with allies mount-a-ble
Treat well your summoned followers
Since you're who's held ac-count-a-ble!

So it's a little goofy. A little whimsy is good for you. Nyeah.

Even better than Ode to a Rockeater!
