The one skill I miss from another IRE game is...

Back to Common Grounds.

For me, I don't know which I miss more, but it's between Angel Seek and Angel Refuge, Refuge was nice because you would never have to worry about the outside world bothering you, but angel seek was just insanely good, especially in one on one combat. Man, I miss that skill.

o.o I missed a good angel skill...

Hands. I hate relying on health vials. ranting.gif

It's such a great sign, isn't it, that there's only one skill you miss? I really love how they made most of the high-end "utility" abilities really low on Lusternia. You know, teleport, burrow, halfway decent attacks...good stuff.

EDIT: I just realised how nice grove return, or that sort of thing, would be for mages demesne's.

I miss hocuspocus....pre-nerfing, of course. I had so much fun making pictures with it, I made a whole story once, with mice, and butterflies, and cheese, and so on - even a jack in the box! Good times, but now a bad realm. Pity.

Heh, I miss a few skills. It's not just the game, but also being a different class. I was a Luminary, of course I miss judgement, spiritwrack, absolve, angel care and empathy and everything that made a luminary good, but the one I miss most of all, especially now that I'm a knight is the angel seek. Paying gold every time I want to locate someone is weak, and since angel seek didn't take balance if you were in the same room with them, you could keep a tab on your opponents health every time you recovered balance. Goooood stuff.
Bricriu2004-11-30 21:42:25
Puppetry - THAT was a kickass skillset. Nyahahahahhaa! I miss eating livers.

Lifevision. Detecting illusions AND hidden people of every kind. Oh and I miss the force command abilities, those were fun.
Sylphas2004-11-30 22:10:57
View/Track, and Farsight. Having to rely on an enchantment for locating people is annoying, and nothing beats Track for traveling.
Richter2004-11-30 22:31:29
Soulmaster, definately.
Unknown2004-11-30 22:32:56
I have to agree with Sylpas - Farsight. I really took that for granted in Aetolia. :/ I don't actually know if there's anything similar over here...
Shiri2004-11-30 22:48:02
Well, the scry/abjure things are in both cosmic and elementalism, so mages AND guardians can easily get it, and you can get it enchanted for you too. And teleport (like track, but less combat orientated, I guess, since it's not instant) is just great - and to boot, it's 90 lessons into a common skillset. No complaints there. Plus a few variants such as flow to forests and via to roads, in nature and rituals respectively.
Terenas2004-11-30 23:40:54
Soulmasters are pookas, actually better, since soulmaster's speed have been fixed in Achaea (not sure about Imperian or Aetolia).
Richter2004-11-30 23:48:47
Ah, forgot about pookas.

I miss celerity too.
Kaelar2004-11-30 23:55:57
Falcon.

Delivering packages, seeking people, keeping watch over everyone in a designated area, and obvious combat uses.
Silvanus2004-12-01 00:02:59
I miss Kai abilities. I loved kai choke, kai heal, kai enfeeble.. kai cripple.. deliverance...
Olan2004-12-01 00:15:18
I miss scry/farsee badly. I just can't bring myself to pay for a window enchantment I know I will burn through the first time I try and find someone who isn't just idling somewhere. And if they are idling, I'll use third eye. Window enchantments seem to just be a way to bilk knights out of gold, since everyone else seems to have a skill to do it.
Akraasiel2004-12-01 01:35:06
I miss holocaust globes...the way the used to be...when they had the good timers and whatnot...those used to be so much fun...just fog up a room, set a few on long timers, and watch the fun begin...

*lights a candle in memory of his holocaust globes*

Mindread -- Listening to tells was sneaky and cool.

Achaea/Aetolia Mage Skillset. Staffcast, that awesome bashing skill that hit 3 or 4 times, holocaust, the entire crystalism skillset, old school Enchantments (squaring the circle!).
