Blah. Girls are insane. SHE'S IN A WHOLE OTHER WORLD.
This might say a lot about my personal character, but...
She's heard of wal-mart, but she's never actually been -in- one.
From November 11th to Yesterday, she's spent a thousand dollars on CLOTHES.
I'm pretty sure she goes to Julliard (or however you spell that)...y'know the School that most kids like everyone here fondle themselves over (because we're all very artistic or creative I would imagine)
I don't know. This is a rant about RL crap, most of you won't get this, and I don't really need you to, but I need a place to scream how incredibly movie-like this is. Surreal. And I don't think she'll ever find this forum, to read this post.
(for the record, I live in Arkansas, and I make 5.80 an hour)
It's like someone took a bucket of Good Luck, poured cocaine into it, shook it up, made it (insert swearword here) GOOD LUCK, and dumped it on my head.
Just....wow that this kind of perfect female who just so happens to be 50,000 leagues out of my fathoming has any sort of interest whatsoever in me.

My advice... make sure you ignore all that information when you interact with her.
I keep hearing about juliard on TV from robin willams and the like, but have never actually heard about it in my actual life.... whats up with that?

Yeah, I don't want her to know I'm intimidated by the fact she's a really good looking rich girl and I'm a poor, borderline whitetrash and moderately handsome nerd.
Daganev2004-12-03 03:49:46
she probably knows your a moderately handsom white trash nerd, and thats why she likes you.
tarquin2004-12-03 03:58:06
unless you've been lieing to her...
Aris2004-12-03 04:00:18
Erm, no. Attempting a relationship, especially a long distance one, requires near angellic amounts of trust. So...lying to her would solve nothing, especially seeing as how I'm spending Christmas with her. (I think, girls are so confusing)
Unknown2004-12-03 04:24:36
Ok you've got me curious...
What is this Juliard? Never heard of it.

Its the school that supposedly all the best actors in America come from. Its the Harvard of American Acting schools. Actors often seem to joke about it together on "The Actors Studio"

Sounds like you got dealt a running flush, stop mugging yourself and go for it.
And get a watertight pre-nup.

You're spending it with her and not me? Egads.
And yes, he is a moderately hansome nerd. *ruffle*
Meeting girls online is whack. But hey, I just spent all of thanksgiving with a girl from Illinois I met online, who flew out to see me. Protect your soldier Ian.
Git-er-dun!

You met her online? I'm all for making friends online, there are a bunch of people I've been friends with for 4+ years. I actually erm, met one of them and they weren't what I expected (and I'd seen pictures, too). But at least I found out they weren't a 50 year old pedophile.
But anyways. The worst possible thing is to think "Why me?" That's a terrible, terrible attitude. In almost every person I've seen say that, they always find some sort of problem in the relationship and it gets messed up. So don't do it!
Anything long-distance sucks. I don't have explicit...dating long-distance experience, but I have something very close (Basically, across the country but interest is known...kinda? Well, I just found out about said interest. Hehe, but I'm with you on it feeling like a movie.). Damn college :|!

None of the people I met online and then got to meet in person were. In every case, they weren't as good looking.
Not that that's all that matters. *shrug*
Veonira2004-12-04 02:56:09
Heh, well the person I met wasn't unattractive. I think I was just under the impression they were taller (even though...they had told me they were short? I get my mind fixated on things.)
Aris2004-12-04 03:27:00
Protect my soldier? (Yeah, my name's Ian)
Did you just call yourself my soldier? I'm confused.
She just told me I look like Wes Bentley, which....is a comparison NOBODY has EVER made. EVER. I myself am confused.
And now we're quoting Dane Cook.
And I actually get to WORK tommorow.
Life is sweet.
(This thread has degraded into talking about what's going on in your world. I'm all for people letting steam off, or bragging that things are finally going their way. People are why I keep on living in this world, because the human mind is so....worth living for. So keep the conversation going!)

Mmmm...Wes Bentley.
Um, some randomness. I'm going to register a passport tomorrow morning so that I can buy World Cup Germany 2006 tickets on February 1st. Yay!
I love hearing about people's good days. It always puts me in a good mood.
Aris2004-12-04 03:45:27
You're buying soccer tickets....a year and a half in advance...
I personally think Soccer isn't an American sport for a reason.
Give me a football, and a helmet, and tell me to mosh on the other team.
There's the American Dream.

I'm crazy about soccer. And it's the World Cup. You -have- to buy the tickets in advance.
Speaking of soccer, I have my first indoor soccer game on Sunday!
