Rurouni Kenshin (Japanse Verison) Alot better then then english one... if you had subs with it and Escaflowne are the two best all time in my opinion

All Animes seem the same to me, except I did watch a couple episodes of Eskaflowne with my cousin.

Azumanga Daioh by far, followed by...well, all the Ghibli films are good...
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (can't stand the original)
Cowboy Bebop and its movie
Rurouni Kenshin OVA's since the tv series can't stack up (except episode 30)
Hellsing
I even have a drawing I made of Paladin Alexander Anderson, I think it's pretty decent.

Fullmetal Alchemist is the BEST by far *bounce* Definitely the very best anime I've ever seen, it had every single emotion imaginable and a brilliant storyline and I love it I love it I love it *cough*
Um... other than that, in no particular order:
She, the Ultimate Weapon (AKA Saikano... So sad! )
Evangelion (Despite head exploding )
Fruits Basket (Ayaaame! *squee* )
Every Studio Ghibli film, but in particular Tonari no Totoro (So cute! )
Chrno Crusade (Although I haven't seen the end of that yet )
Naruto (Despite flashbacks to things that happened THAT EPISODE )
Bleach (Very very cool, love the intro especially )
Ghost in the Shell (Innocence in particular... very creepy )
Samurai Champloo (Soooo cool! And funny as hell! )
*sniffle* The board told me I had too many emoticons... That's not very nice...

I meant flashbacks to things that happened in the episode that the flashback occurs in... The constant ones to past episodes are annoying, but what are the chances of us having forgotten something we saw 10 minutes ago?
Unknown2004-12-10 15:29:11
Two of my favorite are Naruto and Yami No Matsuei...

Nice avatar Shoshana, google couldn't come up with ANY good FMA pics ¬_¬
Oh, and I was wondering, what exactly ARE Full Moon Wo Sagashite and Chrno Crusade? (I always see that as Chrono Cross for some reason)

anyone seen the new ghost in the shell series? and Ghost in the Shell 2 was good. I just wish there was more common knowledge in the area so people could really talk about the topics that are brought up in that series.
Innocence really seemed like a comentary on Japan's fetish with school girls. OH and my favorite is the seemingly eons of time difference between Ghost in the Shell and Ghost in the Shell 2, but the series just rocks.
And cowboy bepop needs to make more seasons dammit!

GTS totally does it for me, both 1 and 2. I love the philosophical spin to everything.
My favorite anime is Voices of a Distant Star. The story of love and longing across a gulf of not just distance but time is the most romantic theme I've ever read or seen. When time only goes forward, and the past never comes again, there can be no hope of reunion. But what barrier is that to love? The beauty of transcience, indeed.
By the way, if anyone's seen that theme anywhere else, in any medium, you'll have my eternal thanks for telling me where.

As I understand it, Chrno Crusade was originally going to be called Chrono Crusade, but they changed it so that it wouldn't get mixed up with Chrono Cross... That seems to have worked (I've also heard that they're changing it back to Chrono when they release it in America I've always wanted to use that emoticon...)
Anyways, it's about an order of nuns who are like militant demon killing-type people, and this relatively new recruit (I think she's just gotten out of novicehood. No pun intended *snicker*) called Rosette. She's made a pact with this reformed demon called Chrno who helps her out and stuff. The first few episodes are kinda like the first few of Witch Hunter Robin in that they're just episodic, setting-the-scene type episodes before the story really kicks off, but it's pretty cool . It also has the best opening theme ever and the second best ending theme (The best ending theme of all time being Tobira no Mukou e, of course ). Definitely worth watching, if you can get hold of it .
I'm not overly fond of the GiTS:SAC series, cause it's too complicated for me to really follow the storyline. The movies were fine because it was short enough that I could follow it, but not an entire series... It is worth watching for the Tachikomas though (Was rather annoyed that they weren't in the movie ).

I don't know, as far as opening themes go I like InuYasha's "Owari Nai Yume"... Thanks for the lowdown on CC! I'll look into getting that right after Rurouni Kenshin
