Cause I noticed today while watching the trailer for The Ring Two...

The lil creepy girl, samara, in the two movies is the same girl that does the voice for Lilo in Lilo and Stitch. From killing people to disney. laugh.gif Anyone else find that strangely amusing mm? rolleyes.gif

Disney always had that underlying indescribeable evil aspect to it.
Shiri2004-12-10 19:51:25
Well, Walt Disney was an evil, evil man. Or so I hear.

Plus, ew, who can forgive Disneyisations of horrible old fairy tales? I mean, Cinderella? They're getting better recently though.
Daganev2004-12-10 20:33:29
I like disney,

but only because the "disney is evil" counterculture isn't so counterculture anymore,... they actually teach this crap in universities as if theres some real lesson to be learned from it... *ugh!

I take great delight in pointing people to Snopes articles on how "Disney debauchery" is just stupid urban legends most of the time. I agree with Daganev on the counterculture irritation factor.

Nobody notices that Marsellus Wallace and Cobra Bubbles (the social worker from "Lilo and Stitch") were the same guy...

Well, if you've ever seen the movie Song of the South (Zip a dee doo dah!! ring a bell?) Disney has done some questionable things in its time. That cartoon has been witheld from the public due to it sugarcoating slavery with happy songs and such and it hasn't been available to purchase since 1986. However, at all the parks there are still references to it all over the place (IE Splash Mountain) which never made any sense to me at all.

Too add to Splash Mountains existence making no sense, not only is it still there, but atleast 75% of the time its not working. Actually, the last 3 or 4 times I've been to Disneyland it wasn't working.

I swear I've seen that on TV after that date since my memory of it is quite vivid, but I can never remember when... oh well, it was probably an Australian thing.
