IC Laneth will bad mouth gods as much as he will bad mouth a mortal. He does not see the gods are beings to worship or lay down and wither infront of. He sees them as being worthy of his respect, yes, but fallable and worthy of disrespect and criticism when the situation requires it.

So to all you people who think we should sit down and shut up when a god says so.

Akraasiel view the Children of the Fragmented as Divine in potential. They carry within themselves as an entirety the essence of a god, and as such, are not individually equal to a god, but as a conglomerate entity, equal to a divine.

I'd love to see some of the Divine beat people to death for some of the things that are said IG about them.

Most people, in a real sense, aren't going to badmouth a being with nearly infinite power in comparison to them.

They probably wouldn't be so quick if the Divine took/were able to take IC measures against them, besides having their followers slap on a shrine power or something. We need a Divine to go on a zapping spree!

A vicious physical beating by an Elder God would be hilarious. They could broadcast it, certainly much more interesting than the zapping.

There is a line between respectfully disagreeing with a Divine, and making a fool out of yourself for speaking quite disrespectfully to a Divine. Many Lusternians cross that line every day, and Slythe would absolutely love it if SHE could zap each and every one of them.

True true. I don't go round calling Auseklis and old fart and making jokes about His beard. I am just happy, IC, to openly disagree with Him and be reasonably disrespectful, as I am to mortals.

I have nothing against gods, who are probably among the wisest playable entities, except for one of their bad side, when they do Sacred obscenities. I meant by this, when they write a post that hinder mortals from having doubt on a hot topic, hence breaking their thougth process. And the written post become worshipped for years to come.

Hopefully, this forum is relieving the game from a lot of pressure... is it a good or a bad thing, i have yet to know..

Anyway, i wouldn't mind if having a God as a city patron, would bring to the city an Rp asset.. something like a permanent good weather, or a protection against undead, an increase on income or everhappy citizen.. that kind of thing..which could become a threat, should the divine be unhappy

On topic, I think some of the things said to Gods HERE, let alone IC, are pretty beyond the pail, but once it gets to IC, they need a good zappin'. Let all that essence be useful for something. (Other than Isune's worldburn.)
