So, I used to play on Java. Upgrade to Zmud, found out what a "system" was.
I get to Lusternia, and have this map that I bought lying around. After a week or two, I figure out it needs to be unzipped with a wierd program. I load it. About the same time, I figure out that my laptop can work on my brand new 27 inch flatscreen TV. Not only does it work, it can be used as a second screen. And look! USB keypad, macroed directions!
So, now I have a full map of lusternia, on my large TV in front of me, and me pushing buttons on my little keypad, looking at my computer and TV, watching the little me go around.
Wow.

Well, that first sentence was a year ago. The rest of the stuff just now. Its like that new game boy, but HUGE.

Awesome! My dad's been going on about this, along with the new wireless sound systems, wireless tele's, etc. He needs to stop reading Popular Mechanics so much.

Dude... that's simultaneously enviably awesome and sad. Enviably awesome in that I want the total coolness that is a full map, on a 27-inch screen, and all that. Sad that such a thing exists and that people use it

Are these Thorgal's maps? Genius, that man.
Richter2004-12-15 05:23:56

In 1896 Marconi took his apparatus to England where he was introduced to Mr. (later Sir) William Preece, Engineer-in-Chief of the Post Office, and later that year was granted the world's first patent for a system of wireless telegraphy.

Wireless is tops. I think I will work on some contraption that will allow me to be in realm while I'm in the bath before I invest in a second screen. I used my handheld in the bath before I dropped it and made the screen go purple in one corner. Would ZMUD work on a PDA?

wow old topic, forgot it existed... thats what happens when you read through the divine posts... anyway..
I shall thank him and whoever invented the transistor, and why doesn't that guy get any credit?
MAN is Metropolitan Area Network. Imagine a large antenae in the middle of the city devoted only to wireless networks.
