What song line, from what Song - Band most relates to your character.. or the character of someone else (try not to be mean!)
I did a comp with this on Achaea which got me in a bit of trouble.. I think my fave there was Learn to Fly by the Foo Fighters for Tranquility (way back in the day)
For myself.. Hmm, it changes with different songs that come on as I play my MP3 list.. I'm not really sure what it is. I'll edit this when I come across the Me Song

All of Magnagora = Down with the Sickness.

Just imagine watching the Emperor reaching out to touch the Astral Node and then seeing the taint consume and twist Shallamar, the Earth Plane, and Magnagora in slooow-motion with that song playing. Pure awesome. Rowena can play guitar, and Brennan will sing, and halfway though the performance Visaeris will jump onto stage and have a laser fight with Nikua!

Uh. Yeah! ninja.gif

I wanna kill this man/
but he turned around and ran/
I'll kill him with karate that I learned in Japan/
He wouldn't see my face/
I wouldn't leave a trace/
I wouldn't use a bullet 'cause a bullet's a disgrace

the band Norma Jean, download Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste if you want a sample of the band.

Song 4: "Creating Something Out Of Nothing..."

Your eyes, your concrete eyes. Cross crisscross
my path... Walking in circular patterns. Shoe shine
your ammo, polish your metal. I need not your wicked
weapons. My war is not with someone like you. A
string of blood that is not my own strings between.
Increase time and it will fall into place. a sword
and my heart. So much so that it makes its way through
my throat giving me thought to speak. This becomes my
pistol. This becomes my dagger of my time. Don't sell
out It all comes to. This becomes your future. Unseen
war. Your weapons are useless. Drop the gun. Golden
gun. Like bringing a knive to a gun fight.

I quite like "the wanderer" by Status Quo (originally by Dion & The Belmonts).

Oh, did you say don't try be funny with it?

"Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of" by U2 for Althana each time she thinks about Celest and contemplates being the rogue guild administrator.

OoH 'Bitter Sweet Symphany' by the Verve
So Tarquin, and myself I must say. Although I also think that another song for Tarquin would be that money song, I don't know what its called but it's a bit like this. "Money ohh wooho Thats what I want" and "All the best things in life are free dum dum dum dum but you can give them to the birds and bees I want money oh wooho thats what I want" No idea what the title is.

I think the quotes in my signature sum it all up
Shoshana2004-12-15 11:08:59
Er... For my faeling alt (who seems to be taking over my time here unsure.gif), the first and third movements of the Poulenc sonata for clarinet and piano. Go look them up, it's one of my favourite pieces ever biggrin.gif.

For Shoshana, something very reserved and traditional and Classical period, I think. Some sort of minuet...

The oompa loompa songs from Willy Wonka for a faeling that tries to tell people what common sense should otherwise be telling them.

Furloch - "Thoughtless" by Korn, though the version i'm gonna "use" is the live cover done by Evanescence in their "Anywhere but Home" DVD :-P

Furloch and his Magnagoran/Seren buddies - "Forsaken" by Jonathan Davis (of Korn) from the Queen of the Damned soundtrack "You see I cannot be forsaken.. because I'm not the only one! We walk amongst you.. feeding, raping... must we hide from everyone?"

Magnagora relating to Furloch - "Step up" by Drowning Pool - that song so sums up how Magnagora is treating Furloch and all their threats against him :-P

Magnagora when Raiding.. anywhere - "Bodies" by Drowning Pool

For myself, Owari Nai Yume. I only know what like two of the words mean, but it just sounds so...me!

EDIT: Also, Guido, I seriously owe you one. I know almost NOTHING about ANY kind of music, so when someone actually mentions one of maybe 30 songs IN TOTAL I actually have heard of, let alone heard...I feel less totally distant to everyone! Yay!
Richter2004-12-15 23:52:28
Let the bodies hit the floor! Whenever my brother is taking on four people at once!

Imperial March for Daevos.

Moondance for Nepthysia. But if you could find a song just as sweet, but a little more sad, there you go.

Finished Symphony by... crap, its good. Its like smooth techno... borderline trance. Good for wandering music.

Carmina Burana- Fortuna, empress of the world. The one that goes "do do, do do. Do do, do do. Do do do do, do, do do... Do do, do do!" etc... tongue.gif For Richter's battle with Draest.

Put it in your mouth, for Munsia. Dirty song, and she was equally dirty.

For influencing, go to allyourbase.com and listen to that.

And a LOT of Final Fantasy battle music.

In the end by Linkin Park
Unknown2004-12-16 00:28:29
Really, Shiro? I would have thought you were more of the 'nobody likes me, everybody hates me, think I'll go and eat some worms...' type of guy.

Jokes.

Anyways, for Et...The hobbit theme, from LOTR, or The Barber of Seville.

Lisaera2004-12-16 00:40:05
Epiphany by Staind or Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day.

There are many others for the various facets of My personality, though I doubt that a lot of you would have heard of many of them... not only is my taste in music eclectic and rather odd (as seen above), but it also goes back a century or more.
