From the Journal of Alaron Arthardar
As I walk through the streets of Magnagora the Megalith to the north towering over me like Avencha’s Peak to the depths of the sea of despair I begin to think. Most of us are now Denizens of the taint, what some are beginning to call Viscanti. There are the Geomancers of the Earth Plane, the ur’Guard of the prime, and the Nihlists like myself, guardians of the holy plane of nil and servants to the demon lords. As I look to the north I see a filthy Merian, I begin to focus on the north, trying to hear what he is saying, but I cannot. I move farther north, and I notice standing next to the Merian is another piece of filth, but this an Elfen. I could begin to hear them talking saying things like “come into the light,†and “Abandon the dark.†I immediately called my brothers Jondalar, and Yalentan to my side. They come to my aide immediately seeing the lower races preaching at our nexus. We began preparing for battle. We emptied our pocket belts and sipped our vials. Myself and Yalentan called our demons to aide us in our battle. Jondalar began to chant common rituals as well as necromantic rituals. His body seemed to bend to his will as he began to breathe with controlled motion. The broadswords he was wielding were quickly replaced by the speedy rapiers of pure silver. We all walked into the Nexus and saw the lower races were not only preaching, but preaching to a Viscanti with elven features. As they watched us walking in they must have noticed us and call for aide with they friends because strands of light lit up the room and another Merian and Elfen appeared. The initial elfin summoned a Pixie, but we were prepared. Jondalar chanted another dark ritual and the Elfen’s Pixie shot the one who summoned it who was immediately put to sleep. Myself and Yalentan then proceeded to shrivel his arms and legs. As he was still asleep Yalentan crucified the elfin while I sacrificed him to the tainted power of Nil. As the three remaining lower races stared awestruck we used the confusion to take out the others. I quickly began to shackle and attack the first Merian. I quickly pulled a soulless from my deck and threw it at the Merian up contact I began to put the Merian to sleep, dooming him to death. Once my fight was over I watched the end of my brother’s fights. Jondalar was slashing and applying poisons faster than the eye can see. The Elefen was taken out very quickly with minimal retaliation as he had no time to react. Lastly I watched Yalentan finish off the last Merian with simple cosmic fire. This was a damaging blow to those who think that Magnagora will fall easy, when in reality, it won’t. The Elfen-Viscanti tahnked us and left on his way. Only the fates knew that one day our paths would be crossing again, but this time, we will have switched roles as he will be our savior.
hope you like it, post opinions.

How is it the Arthardar Family History?
Luthe2004-12-15 22:29:42
This is an excerpt from Alaron's journal. I'll be adding in excerpts from all 3 brothers and that will show a connection between them and the 3 of us now. This, kinda like richters is setting up a background for why our family does what it does.

Yeah, bit about Draest doesn't yet connect to me. But, like Luthe's, it will.
Stay tuned.
