Does anyone know of any pretty area's, I mean compared to other IRE games, I feel that Lusternia is quite lacking of pretty places, you know like that Aalen Waterfall in Aetolia aww, and I can't really think of any other examples but you know. Of Course I am probbally very wrong and there are lots of pretty places, but you know you can never be too sure.

The Inner Sea is very pretty. As is Moon Lake.

The whole Seren is very pretty, actually. There aren't so many of those "Overlooking a stunning valley" or blah rooms that I've seen, but if you read the desc's in quite a few places they're beautiful.
Auseklis2004-12-24 17:04:55
Thank you.

Trying to think of places I've not built myself, you might look along the rivers and mountains, there's some amazing little rooms hidden far away from civilisation.

I think Nil and Magnagora turned out quite beautiful... but then I'm fairly strange that way.
Dritex2004-12-24 22:43:52
I think teh water plane is quite beautiful. Maybe that's due to bias on my part, but it's a very pretty place if you look at the full room descriptions.

There's a rock garden in the northeastern Teeth that I'm rather fond of, though it's apparently a kafe farm or something so I haven't been able to keep a demesne there for more than 12 RL hours or so. Some of the caves and swamps are very nice, as well. At least the ones not in need of an Ebonglom catbox (I can't cast Cleanse on him! it's not his fault he smells!).

There are some locations in the Ethereal that are pretty fabulous.
Jack2004-12-24 23:15:24
The rooftop garden of the d'Murani Tower in Magnagora is fairly nice. And the Necromentate's Cave is simply beautiful - if you visit Magnagora, go at least once. Quite spectacular.

Yes, Ethereal is beautiful. Water, too. There are a select few rooms in Serenwilde that I like quite a bit.. hmm.. The rivers are pretty. I think the Oleanvir Valley has several nice spots, too.

I really love the everything about Nil.

QUOTE
The Weeping Amaranth is an enormous flower that stretches across the length of
the ceiling. Its lily white petals are fleshy and thick, tightly layered from
its center and slightly curling outwards, blossoming to breathtaking
proportions. Thousands upon thousands of tiny golden hooks gouge the petals,
ripping tiny wounds into the fleshy petals, from which drip thick, bright red
blood that sprinkles down in a constant shower of hot, crimson droplets. The
hooks are pulled taut by silver wires that descend from the ceiling and walls.
The flower occasionally trembles and quivers, causing the shower of blood to
momentarily become a small deluge. The scent from the flower is extremely musky
and sweet, provoking a disturbing carnal heat.

QUOTE
Nifilhema is counted among the ranks of the Demon Lords of Nil. Known
alternately as the Queen of Insufferable Cruelty and Lady of the Weeping
Amaranth, she is ravishingly beautiful with lily white skin and a fall of
straight black hair. Her lips are perpetually wet and shiny, coated in blood,
and her teeth are bright white with her two incisors sharpened to needle-like
fangs. Dressed in a black leather corset tied so tightly that her waist is
impossibly thin, she has sections of her skin artistically peeled back from her
flesh, exposing bloody muscle and bone, the flaps of skin being pierced by
small golden hooks that are pulled tautly by fine silver wire. Her eyes glow
red and passionately, and a sweet, musky perfume emanates from her skin, the
scent of which is both seductive and repulsive.

QUOTE
Nifilhema, Queen of Insufferable Cruelty says, "Does my pretty-pretty wish to
visit the Supreme Master? Mmmmm. Perhaps I shall send you to him, you are so
tasty-tasty. Mmmmm. But you would like a kiss first, yes?"

Nifilhema, Queen of Insufferable Cruelty sensually places a hot hand behind
your neck and draws you forward. With a smile, she leans in and kisses you on
the lips and white-hot pain explodes throughout your body, which convulses in
violent paroxysms. You feel sticky with blood.

QUOTE
Supreme Master Luciphage places a thumb on your forehead and your very soul
feels as though it is being pulled and twisted. You stagger backwards, utterly
defiled by the touch.
You have been slain by Supreme Master Luciphage.

Gorgulu is awesome as well.
Maedhros2004-12-25 20:17:18
Pet Gorgulu! I dare ya....wink.gif
Unknown2004-12-25 21:03:01
He ate me for peering at him once! This was upsetting mainly because I was afraid I'd upset an event brewing in his little Emanation Station. Moral of this story: do not come within fifty paces of what King Gorgaliel is these days.
Unknown2004-12-25 21:42:12
Quite a lot of the rooms in Serenwilde are pretty.
Unknown2004-12-25 22:31:17
Gorgulu has eaten me twice; once when I tried to greet him, and the next time when I was pacting him. I also fed him some rat corpses and the monolith sigil that was in his room. I want to bring him some tasty Fae...
Shiri2004-12-25 23:44:23
Yeah, I tried to reach Luciphage by embracing Gorgulu, since I was naive enough to think it was the same as on Celestia.

Last time I try that one. *mutter*
Unknown2004-12-26 00:12:33
Heh, you have to grovel to reach Luciphage.
Shiri2004-12-26 00:14:25
Well yeah, I know that now, but all the Nihilists were being quiet at the time. I just ended up going with Baalphegar in the end. (Although that took like 3 lifetimes to figure out as well, stupid book thing.)

If you think the book is bad, try getting to Nifilhema.
Shiri2004-12-26 00:52:42
I couldn't even find her. I tried stepping in the black maiden thing...then...stepped out, sharpish. At least with Gorgulu, you know where he's blinking standing, even if he does munch on everything for no readily apparent reason.

Same with Ashtorath, only replace "munch" with "slaughter mecilessly".
Nika2004-12-26 14:25:06
Nil is like... kinky S&M fetish heaven. huh.gif Not that that's a bad thing, it sounds like fun! Celestia doesn't look as err... 'interactive' as Nil.
