So I got a 5 month reprieve from enemy status in Delport, just how does this work? Is it not possible to get unenemied permanently without offering lots of gold? And if I attack things in the city the reprieve ends, correct?
Also, what's the point of amnesty is people can still attack you in the village as if you were an enemy?
Lasty, does anyone know how much it costs to parley to have enemy status removed?

After the 1st 5 mo. reprieve, when you get amnesty again it'll be for good. (Assuming you don't get enemied again during that 5 months)

Amnesty and parley are both sort of random. With amnesty it's possible to get unenemied completely, rare but possible. I used to go around just getting amnesty for people to get the experience since there's the chance that they can get unenemied completely. While your unenemied from the village, your still enemied to the city that's in control of the village at that time so you'll be attacked for that.

So even if I'm not enemied from a village, Celestians who are on my suspect list can always attack me there without my being able to attack back if they control the village?

Yep.

Not true, I've been given amnesty for 9-8 months from Ankrag 4 times now. I didn't do -THAT- much damage while I was a Paladin to deserve that.

Guess I had a luck run there.

I really wish they had said this in the help files so that I would have known not to buy any credits. The avenger not protecting you is pretty different from the avenger helping people to kill you. What a pathetic way to do things.

Cost me 20k to get unenemied from toscho - then ran out in under a month (24 hours)
Is there no way to do it cheaper/longer (although the answer is probably yes but not at the same time)

Many things effect it, all the things that effect normal influencing. With amnesty there is a SMALL chance of being completely unenemied.

A quick few questions about influencing in general - will leaving the room during an influence battle make it harder to win? Will using divert reset the battle?
Buho2005-01-30 08:48:13
Off the top of my head, I don't think leaving the room makes a difference. Just like doing that in a real battle doesn't do much(unless you leave for a really long time).
As for divert, yes it resets things.
