Try 'kai' ingame. Makes you wonder.
Shiri2004-12-30 00:30:24
Nah, that's just a leftover from monks in Achaea. Like the odd phantom helpfile that didn't apply in Lusternia, but was still left around in open BETA.
Richter2004-12-30 00:58:39
There are still helpfiles from other games.

HELP CUSTOMIZATION
Shiri2004-12-30 01:01:48
Okay, so not ALL of them escaped open BETA. Probably best to just bug these things and leave it. Sorry Eldanien, but I don't think it's similar to that thing that references dream state, just a leftover. It was likely coded in the "basic commands" section that was probably copied over, seeing as everyone, monk or not, could do it on Achaea. (Used to happen ALL THE TIME while talking to Kaius/Kaizah/Kaisar/Kaiwhoever. Because I don't like TELL PERSON THING. Hint hint. halo.gif)
Nika2004-12-30 04:12:17
Don't bug it, TYPO it.

Ack. I mean.. bug the Kai thing, TYPO any extra help files.
Eldanien2004-12-30 04:16:37
Nah.

I figure... you've got people who lick their lips, chant, smooth their hair, all manner of things before their combat actions in order to deal with amnesia... I'm going to Kai.

Doesn't appear obvious (also doesn't spam) to those around me.

Fun stuff.
Daganev2004-12-30 05:08:20
do they still have the help file for was it element? or Kor? Some monk had a help file and flower named after him.
Asarnil2004-12-30 12:30:07
Korr, the Pretty Pink Tulip - and no he doesn't have that help file on Lust.
Roark2004-12-30 13:08:23
Please don't use the TYPO command for help files. Or for anything for that matter. The bug list has categories for typos. I don't think they actually ever look at TYPO in any IRE game... (It's stored differently than bugs and is nasty to sift through. Probably should be deleted entirely...)
Nika2004-12-30 13:22:52
Really? Ok.. *shrug* Anywho, I've had typos fixed before, so I think they do look at it occasionally.
Lisaera2004-12-30 14:14:28
Actually, it's more likely that someone on staff caught the typo.

We really don't look at them, they're horribly disorganised.

Bugs used to be that way too, but some major recoding got done and now it's relatively easy to sift through.
Niara2004-12-30 15:01:39
Uhm, so you bug things instead of using typo when you found a typo? Like our loving totems....
