If you look at the wound curing in that, you'll see that he pinlegged me in:

2 (two)

doubleslashes, that's INCLUSIVE, yes that means that after TWO HITS I was effectively dead, since pinleg is somehow coded so that it lasts right up to the next dsl, each taking balance, preventing YOU from preventing IT happening if the warrior has fast enough weapons.

I'll take tips for avoiding that, though I doubt I'll be impressed by them. This is really a plea for pinleg to be downgraded.

Ummm...nowhere in that log had Valek both his swords pinned into your leg.

Aside from that, the ONLY race/class combination that can effectively keep you pinned is aslaran with rapiers, and they do such pitiful damage you can easily keep your legs healed even with just applying health, not to mention parrying and puer.

You know, I just browsed through that log, and I noticed something. For one, you are a inferior curer, and two, he never double pinned your leg, you just cant writhe well.

Inferior curer who hasn't lost a duel to anyone except Valek. I don't think anything I could have done would have made the pinleg less effective, though of course I'm taking advice Daevos, since it's all OOC and friendly...

Well, you're better than me. When I get my leg pinned I just scoot back from my keyboard, lean back, and get ready to pray for salvation. It did appear, however, that you were taking far too long to writhe.

Excuse my newbieness, but in other games fighting like you're in the arena when you're not is a death sentence. Also, is it possible to parry legs in this game? Seems like a logical thing to do if pinleg is his strongest move.

How can you know how long it took me to writhe from a log without timers on? If you look properly, I writhed as fast as I could, the commands being entered before it were entered before I even got impaled, so didn't slow it down at all.

And Jello has a point; why didn't you set full parry to your right leg? It was the only part he was targetting. (Does setting parry take balance?)

Remember I've been playing Lusternia for about 1.5 months, there's a lot I don't know. I assumed that if you were parrying a limb at 50%, there was a 50% chance of it being successful. I now realise that's a long way off, and I've made a new parry mode I'll probably start using which always uses 100% instead of working out split parries.

As I said at the top, Jello, I was parrying legs 50/50.

For some strange reason, I am bugged, and repeatedly get pinlegged even though my wounds check my legs at undamaged.

All I can say is congrats for lasting so long. When I get into a fight like that, and my life gets low i start to panic and lose my train of thought so i can't figure out what to do next to get out of it, and i invariably die.
