QUOTE
Charis falls to her knees in worship.
2063h, 2059m, 1817e, 1p exkdb-
Laughing in triumph, you clench your fists as the earth yields to your will.
The ground splits open beneath Charis, releasing foul smelling vapour and a
blast of fetid heat. She hovers momentarily over the gaping earthen maw before
being sucked screaming down into its darkness, her cries abruptly ending as the
stinking chasm rumbles shut.
You have slain Charis.
Your soul cries out in ecstasy as it reaches new heights of power. You have
advanced to level 42.
You have reached the illustrious level of Heroic.
Charis drops the corpse of a mountain rockeater.
Charis drops the corpse of a mountain rockeater.
Charis drops the corpse of a mountain rockeater.
Charis drops a calamus root.
Charis drops a calamus root.
Charis drops a calamus root.
Small beams of light burst forth from Charis's pores, restoring her body and
saving her from certain death.

Prettymuch everyone agrees that geomancers need upgrades, so I suggest that vitae/lichdom/etc. not work after someone gets chasmed. It really doesn't make any sense that vitae which works as described revives them when their body is supposed to be burried underground.

Yes, that makes sense logically. However, it should resurrect if you have vitae for balance issues. Why? Well for starters, Vitae, Lichdom, or any resurrection ability give suspect. So why should you have an ability that could bypass vitae, thus giving them a real death (rather then a partial death with less experience loss), and still only get regular suspect. After someone uses vitae, normally you can't even attack them, because they are suspected to you.
