well, I know WHAT they are, but which are which. I cannot find a DECENT list with a decent desciption of what each does. The thing I wish to know most, if no one minds, what herbs should you eat to def up?
yeah, I am not TOO worried about the cures, because of my system... but which poisons would you recommend in battle?

I've got the lists but i just can't be bothered to put up EVERYONE'S defs so here's my set - don't expect to have all these skills without a lotta transing
For everyone:
drink fire
drink frost
eat kafe
eat faeleaf
rub any and all enchantments (health, mana and clotting; any more is up to you)
selfishness
insomnia
metawake (if you can afford the mana drain - good for arena with constant sparkle)
thirdeye
lipread
deathsense
nightsight
powermask
invoke red
invoke yellow
invoke blue
invoke autumn
Parry all (or wherever you like)
Then for knights:
weathering
grip
breathe deep
adrenaline
constitution
flex
regeneration on
boost regeneration
consciousness on
vitality
resistance
immunity (only needs to be done once - lasts beyond leaving the realms and goes only when used up)
surge
For those with Stag in totems:
obviously spiritbond nature - or one by one
staghide
stagform
stagcall medicinebag (cause they're cool)
paint face greenman OR paint face trueheart
paint face lightning OR paint face swiftstripes
Combat stances wear off as soon as you leave the room, puissance is pants cause it wears off after seconds, standing firm wears off when you do anything, serpent is temp and so no point as a def - more a combat thing like puissance.
Hope you like it - any more questions just askify

alright... but what do you do to get each one.. as in, what do you eat? or are they skills?

The ones that say "drink" or "eat" are the ones you need to buy somewhere. Painting your face requires tints, but it also requires the skill in Stag. Everything else is purely skills. I strongly suggest you read your AB files, try out all your defenses, check DEF after each one, and make a def up list for yourself. It's not so difficult, and if you want to fight, you'll need it.

And with regards to the skills, the "Invoke" ones are lowmagic, and the following are:
selfishness (Discipline, I think.)
insomnia (Discipline.)
metawake (Discipline.)
thirdeye (All discernment.)
lipread
deathsense
nightsight
powermask
The ones under "for knights" are athletics, mainly. Possibly a couple knighthood ones, but I didn't see if there was.
Parry all is combat, I think.
