How about it? I've been trying to find natural things that have explosive properties for a while now, in the hopes of alchemically purifying them and turning them into throwable explosives. Add a glasscraft item that is a fragile, hollow sphere with a stopper in the top that can be thrown in a direction, creating an explosion that damages everyone in the area.
Of course, there would be disadvantages. If you just dropped one while flying, the shockwave from below would send you off balance for a similar length of time as if you had thrown it, and it would cost a LOT of power to amalgamate a batch of it. And if you move too fast while carrying it, BOOM!
A fragile, glass globe flies in from the east and shatters.
A huge concussion sends you flying back as the contents of the globe explode on impact!
