Ok here's a little encounter with a Geomancer I had on the highway.

Tainted soil suddenly clogs your vision and you feel a disembodied, muddy hand
grab you by the nape of your neck and roughly pulls on you.
You see Revan as you are pulled up through the ground.

monolith is on the ground. A huge archdemon looms here, surrounded by black
mist.
You see exits leading northeast and southwest.

A violent tremor rocks the land, causing the earth to shake and the ground to
buck beneath your feet.

Dust clouds rise as the earth shifts and sharp rocks slide and bounce, some
flying into the air. You yelp in pain as several of them smash into you,
bruising your flesh and cutting your skin.

Ok, so the rooms in bold were to point out which rooms were tainted or not. Looking at the log many times, I've come to the conclusion that I DID exit the demesne, but he (Revan) could still use his demesne powers on me. Is there some special ability or something that allows this? I'm confused.

Magnagora is tainted urban, therefore Geos can meld to it. He probably had that area melded and outside of the city too. That's why you were still getting hit.

Revan's demesne is stupefyingly huge, he's got much of Glomdoring melded too. There should really be a limit on demesne size.
