The first vote for Taurian is mine, and I sure hope I am not the only one. The reason I chose Taurian was because I considered it a rare race, and my licking of the taurian to the Minotaur myth. Also, the whole idea of a group normally ostracized by society thanks to their aggressiveness was something I liked. Including the whole taurian forced to be mercenaries, affair. Initially, I thought of role-playing as a taurian seeking her tribe with the prospect of installing a mercenary faction, also involved in ecoterrorism (hence my choice for Serenwilde). So far, my taurian has just become a hermit.

I'm going to be one what, 5-6 Furrikin. And I think only 2 of them use the boards. I'm hoping for a family of 9 brother and sister Furrikin, we have 5 so far, yay!

Expect to see a lot of Elfen and Viscanti. And some Merian.

I'm a mugwump, and I have to admit that I didn't choose it for RP reasons... this was my first IRE MUD that I wanted to try to actually fight on and Mugwump seemed like a good choice.

Though it's turned out a little interesting to be a Mugwump in a predominantly Merian city. At least it's not so cliché.

I chose Merian. The reason was that I read the info on Merians and saw the sexy specialisation and go ooooo because I was going to be Celestine.

Elfen of course.

Strangely enough, I was Dracnari at first, but after seeing how great Elfen were for the Moondancers, I reincarnated.

I'm voting merian for the rich history associated with it. As with the principle races in the game, Merians tend to be highly racist and arrogant (though not as arrogant as Dracnari). Dracnari and Lucidians come in second place in my book.

I voted Viscanti because I didn't bother reading your post.

I chose Dracnari because its stats are well balanced. 15con and a 14int is pretty good. Plus you get to breathe fire and bask off afflictions.

The sipping penalty hurts though.

Trill all the way! I chose this because I love being a person with wings...and it just feels cool too. Hmm I think that if I wanted to go seriously down a path of fighting and bloodshed I probably would've picked Krokani though, because they seem really interesting as well.

I picked Merian because they have the richest history in the entire Basin and they are the best Guardian/Mage type.

When I chose to be a Tae'dae I did so because I figured it would be the best race to RP a slow lugging fighter that can also use the influence skillset.

Some people don't like slow balance, but to me, it just means more time to think about what attack to do next.
