If this has been brought up in another board, kick me.

But I have to say this:

Vitae is practically useless against another player - why?

Well ok imagine the scenario

Uberpsychopowereddude kicks you in the shin.
You whimper in pain and dies.
Super Vitae revives you with no power and no defenses.
Ubersychopowereddude kicks you again.
You die again and thus losing more experience.

Unless this is a group fight, it's usually pretty pointless.

We need it so that perhaps dying from player will dump you at the Portal or at your Nexus.

No. It's a potion, not a super powerful skill, like Lich. It's not MEANT to be a be-all-end-all. If 10 power could save ME from praying every single time (and I wasn't Resurgemmable *cough*) I'd be MORE than worth the amount you have to pay for it. 'tis fine as is.

Just because you die once and vitae back, it doesnt always mean you'll die a second time. If youre being jumped and die, spam whatever direction to leave the room. Tis what I did when Amaru jumped and killed me, escaped unharmed after vitae saved me from praying. I think its really useful anyways.

If someone kills you with vitae on the prime plane, they can't kill you again without being avengered, so it's quite useful 1v1.

There's no problem with vitae whatsoever, and I was under the impression that you actually lose less exp with vitae. I swore I lost as much or less when I died twice than when I died once normally.

And if you don't find it useful, don't drink it.

Like others have said, it's a potion....wait, why am I bothering to reply? I agree with the others. That will be all.
