I posted this in another forum, but just incase people missed it and it may be of some help. You can use Mushclient on Linux now, though it takes some setup through WINE, below are some details along with links to a walk-through on how to set it up.

Wine (Linux)
We have had some success running MUSHclient under Wine (Wine Is Not an Emulator) - a system for running Windows program under Linux.

Our most recent successful test has been with wine-20040505-1fc1winehq.i386.rpm (Wine version from 5 May 2004).

MUSHclient has a "/wine" command-line option that you can try if you have problems starting MUSHclient under Wine. This disables some of the COM (Component Object Model) calls, and disables scripting. Lua scripting is still available, even with "/wine" specified. However, our most recent test has MUSHclient running successfully without using the /wine option.

Wine can be obtained from http://www.winehq.org/.

You may have problems running the MUSHclient installer under Wine. If this is the case we suggest running the installer on a Windows PC, and then simply zipping up the installed MUSHclient directory and copying that to your Linux PC. Similarly, to use VBscript (or other script engines) you may have more success by installing them on Windows, and then copying the relevant DLL (eg. vbscript.dll) to your MUSHclient directory in Wine.

Some versions of MUSHclient are now supplied as a "gzipped tar" file (mushclient.xx.x.tar.gz) which does not require the use of the installer. You may prefer to download one of those versions.

See Running MUSHclient under Wine (Linux) for some more tips about recent attempts to run MUSHclient under Wine.
