In the recent FFA, I got beaten by Narsrim because he was able to get around my demesne effects to hit me and such. It's hard to make afflictions stick to (good) Moondancers because almost all of them have Healing, so they can just bedevil it back at me, which is really annoying and I have no way to really prevent it, short of pointlessly webbing over and over and over and over and over, or whatever. Furthermore, the defense stripping is really annoying, and I keep getting put to sleep by the pixies as a result because it strips my insomnia.
Does anyone have suggestions for stuff I can try?

If you combine kafe and insomnia, you can defend against the pixies better. Being able to wake up and stand up immediately is more of an advantage than many people realize. I always always always eat kafe when I play. (Only a small suggestion, but a key one nonetheless.)

Best thing you can try is fuse gyfu and sling manna and cen. The ones that use charismatic smile will find that it doesn't work whlie paralysed. Otherwise you can just hit them with a few rune comboes, and then with rad-lagu, and keep afflicitng them from the next room, or hitting them with damage, an aquamancer doesn't ever need to be in the same room as their victim except to web or to stip their shield, you an even use stalker from afar, unless your gonna illusion
EDIT: If you see them sipping love when you give them disloyalty, then illusion disloyatly on the, itll make them sip love and often theyll lust to you, but youll alos lust to hem so watch out for that. Apart from that, if you fight them in the same room, illusion like crazy.
EDIT: Manna + ing is a good combo, it means they can't get their fae to reattack you instantly, just slip in an illusion before the sling toget them off herb balance.

I remember beating Narsrim as an Aquamancer by really screwing him up with illusion, runes, and staffing him a few million times. Oh and disloyalty is always fun to stick on Moondancers. I always had the problem of his moonburst doing a ton of damage on me, but it's not really a big problem once you got decent health since he's only human.

He's gotten a lot better since, Terenas. I used to be able to beat him easily, but no more.
