Ok, this is from a LAN game earlier.. I was using mostly Greek Armoured Hopilites, with 4 Greek Calvery Units...

In a phalanx, they marched towards the crest of the hill where I was going to dig in. From across the room, I hear the shout, hey, you know you have holes in your formation right?

I respond that I know, right as he slams into my lines...

He then asks "Why." Then a pause, then "Oh..."

THe oh followed the four calvery units charging through the holes and seperating his force into five little bite sized peices... He escaped with 6 men left out of a 1000 man army... I lost 88 out of a 1200 man army...

In MTW, I had a 200 Gothic Knight (Foot) against 2000 Vikings... I won.

Hehe, only or computer? Some of the people who claim they are good online make me laugh...

Capturing a flank with wing cavalrey should NOT be as easy as it is at times...

I believe my best game was I was playing Italy in MTW and invaded Byzantine, I had like 500 Genoa Soldiers and 300 Spearmen and 200 cavalry (forgot their name) against a force of 2500 (this was online play), I won because he charged up the hill and I came from the side with cavalry.

Heh, when will they learn to not charge a Greek line? I just had another twit decide he was going to do a frontal charge with about 7 cohorts of legionaires, and then when he saw that fail he sent in all his calvery...

*sigh*

I love MTW!! Usually I just load up on demi culverin and swiss pikeman, and plow away at the enemy! I haven't picked up Rome yet but I'm sure I will, looks just as good as MTW if not better. I also loved Shogun, thats still the best japanese warfare game from those times in my opinion.
