I'm loving the new Kamigawa block. The cards might be horribly overcosted (2/1 protection from non-spirits for 4G? WTF?) and so forth (Horizon Seed + Numai Outcast = Chimney Imp 2+3 respectively) but the theme is just so cool. Me being an anime person and all. Anyway, go Green. We get all the coolest monsters. Genju of the Cedars forevar!

Best thing in Green in Champions is Pretend Mana Flare . Red/Black always and always. *grin*

Yeah, the symmetrical spells like Heart of Spring all suck. But hey, Mana Flare's red, so shush you.

Man... I think the last deck I had had like... 4 avatars of woe, some avatars of might, etc, and I could pull them into play the second turn or so with my black spells. That was a killer deck.

Doesn't really work, so I'm thinking of trying to put together a mono-black assassin/graveyard manip. deck, with whatsername from the champions of kamigawa set in it.

Yeah, Green/Black's good for that roach thing in CHK. What're the good ones...Hana Kami, Soulless Revival, Rend Flesh, Thief of Hope, the Green, Black and Blue Zuberas, Cranial Extraction (or maybe now eradicate) and a few others. All works quite well. Maybe genju of the cedars or whatshisface, the new 1drop sac (Child of Thorns or something) just for backup. Reckon you must be thinking of Kiku, Night's Flower, by the way?

yeah, that's the one. I like my older cards though. Possibly 'cos I only started playing again recently, and hadn't even touched my cards since around when prophecy was brought out.

I only started during Invasion. (YES, I missed Urza & Masques!) And I adore the new Japanese one. I'm going to be so sad when it leaves. Also I want a proper 9 tails. 8.5 just ain't cutting it. And just ONE kaiju? Please? :innocent:

I have a prophecy card I found on the floor once. It's a 2BB enchantment, it does something like...if you ever go under 3 cards during upkeep, sac it and the opponents discard all their cards. Not particularly good, but eh.

I likes my black. I remember when I didnt know the correct rules, making a black deck with..well, I can't remember. It was cool.

also want oversold cemetary - when your graveyard has more than 4 creatures in it, take the extra out and put them somewhere (hand/library -can't remember which)

Hand. Not a fan of indirect reanimation, myself. Oversold cemetary worked well for BG Cemetary in recent T2 though.

My friend has a morphling deck he adores, so I am sure he would choose blue.

No, I just started the post thing before you posted. Dang, Daganev, I might have known.

Everyone knows blue's just the support colour you use for counterspells to stop people oxidising your stuff and draw some extra cards on the side.

Plus the whole T1 pwnage combos and so forth, but no one cares about THEM.

Blue is nice, but green is more blunt and overall better. Green has the strongest creatues and overall the best spells. Red is nice for its horde, and black is nice for its undead related things, but blue is my second favorite for its rows upon rows of spells. I don't know much about white. I played MTG awhile ago.
