Anyone have Zmud maps of Lusternia? Please post for download. Thanks

Some maps made in zMUD are specific to a person's configuration or character. At the very least, you need triggers to be able to map things correctly and/or to use the map for speedwalking. I've mapped out a fair portion of the game, but I still get frustrated with the automapper. It's good enough for most of what I do, so I leave it at that. And, sorry, but they're not going to be posted for download.

Zarguan's absolutely right, you'll hafta pay a small amount of you want a full map with triggers and settings, since it's a buttload of effort to design and create them...I'm sure you saw the other threads about it! (like mine)

Nevermind the maps, a quick zmud mapping question. How do you set the roomnames to that of Lusternia? Its giving me quite a headache for some time now.

I don't understand why everyone talks about mapping with triggers...I succesfully map and autowalk without a single related trigger. I tried to upload my .zfg in case anyone was curious how, but the forums won't let me. Is there something special you can do only with triggers?

Open/close doors
use portals
Swim
use secret levers.

You just use the 'other' exit option and enter the appropriate command for that room, like I can use the TOUCH SYMBOL for the moondancer's gh during an autowalk. I guess I do technically have a trigger for swimming (just swim %lastcom) and the mapper opens doors without any special triggers.

never used a mapper, never will, so I'm actually lost in this whole conversation.

Using %lastcom is bad, especially if you have some sort of system on your zMUD, as it sometimes refers to parts of script. Use some sort of tracking thing (e.g. whenever you press something on the keypad it logs that direction into @LastDir).
