I was thinking how cool it would be if you were running your own small plot line with a group of people, like your family, and you were able to give someone a custume dream message. Obviously you probobly would not want to be able to do this to enemies and such because people would run around giving people they don't like insulting dreams and such. What you would have to do is something like SET DREAM PERMISSION OHTAREN. This would then allow me to give you custum dream messsages. Then I can WRITE DREAM EIRENE. This would take me into a text editor and I would write up a good dream. Then the next time she sleeps she sees the message just like it was a dream. This could have lots of cool roleplaying effects. I'm thinking you could have dead people talk to you and give you some secret revelation. Or you could have a dream about going to a place at a certain time or something. You could get to people who son't know each other to both dream about each other and dream about meeting the other person someplace. It would be fun.

In all seriousness, its an interesting idea, but perhaps it would be simpler just to have family dreams where the system inserts the names of people in your family or allies list in your dreams in favorable or unfavorable lights as part of the code.

This could get really interesting with people that have lusted you heh heh...

I think something like this would be a good skill... you know implant a dream so the next time that person sleeps, they see the dream you gave them.

It would also help 'secret' orginizations keep secrets. For example, the leader wanders around the realm, hand picking those he wants to try and recruit. He gives them dreams, and moves on, never saying a word, just like he was passing through the room. Then, at a perscribed place, he gives those who show up a new dream with more information, they later goto sleep and discover he contacted them there...

It would be a neat thing...

I actually am really happy with the dreams in lusternia compared to those in Achaea. It seems like they are much more tailored to individual races and guilds and cities etc. I think Ohtaren's idea is great, and i can't wait to see what kind of dream he gives me... I hope its a fun one!

Im a quest freak. Make it a skill that anybody can get but they first have complete a very involved quest....call it something totaly original.....like a dreamquest.

And if they complete it, it goes on their honors that they are a Weaver of Dreams and people will not only know they completed the quest but now have the ability to transmitt or receive dreams.

Could make it an Illusions skill... Placing dreams in a targets mind like phantoms
