I thought about this for a little while, especially when reading the histories. But what I think would be better, is, lets say we got a newbie on Astral, and I'm on prime, his voice can only project to Nil, I can still hear him speaking, but it comes out to be like this: "I'm stuck *gurgle* ... nasty goat *gurgle* node *gurgle* Ixion."

But if lets say I'm on Ethereal, and then it'd be less gurgled, and on Elemental it'd be less gurgled again. Like during Project Cosmic Hope where Globglob was trying to speak to the people, and their voices were gurgled every so often.

I had this idea a while back, let me find it. (It wasn't gurgling though, just random ...s like with muttering.)
