They're just the coolest ones. As for guild RP or whatever, I'm gonna have to go Moondancers, Druids, Arcanists in that order since those are the ones I only really spent a tonne of time in and can judge.

I meant in general.

Take this example: If you were to join a game with EVERY single IRE guild in it, which guild would YOU be? For me, it'd be a Wardancer because it's on the first on my list.

Consider the preceding when making your choice.

I love the ability of wardens to be just about 100% self sufficient.

In no particular order, Arcanists (Achaea) , Geomancers and the Ilaferi (Imperian).

Honestly I haven't spent much time in other guilds, but none of them seemed to grab my attention. I've been an Arcanist for 60 years on Achaea, although lately they haven't been as good as they were. But they've always been true to what they originated as, and they really are the best Magi guild in Achaea (actually proven after the big intermagi tournaments where we won every event!). And I actually like Geomancers despite the lesser popularity they've had.

Idras (Imperian). That is my favorite guild. I like the Moondancers and Wardens (Imperian) though. And Imperian Bards are cool, NOT the lame Achaean ones.

the only three I know, other than achaean bards which are quite naff, and imperian Noctusari, who I wasn't too fond of 'cos they were quiet and elitist. And 'cos it looked to me like the gm was putting the guild through a ringer.

Idras are simply the coolest because of.... Wolves, Masks, Hostage, and the entire skillset of Knifeplay.

Nothing better then taking an assassination contract, using hide and windwalk, then donning your mask (makes so you only appear as a masked man), evading into an enemy city, guards don't recognize you, evading past totems, finding your mark, alone, and then taking them hostage without them knowing. You wish them well and slit their throat, then quietly leave the city, and shortly later receiving a letter with your payment.

Evading into a Wytchen who JUST attacked you, and taking them hostage, executing them... that was great.

Wait a second Rexali... are you referring to me? I did that to Dregaur JUST after he attacked me, by timing when I went to him, by going right after he farsee'd me (I could see when he farsee'd me via warning).

The Idras, the Assassins (Despite their differences) from Imperian. Oh, and the Infernals, before Mhaldor, 'course.

Runewardens in Achaea.

One of the most populated guilds in all the IRE games with lots of traditions and RP aspects, also because I was just recently knighted after 60 or so years.

I loved being in the Wytchen, wish they weren't so screwed when it comes to EVERYTHING. In my opinion, there's not enough diversity in Lusternian guilds. So, my list is all from Imperian, not for skills at all, just for the experiences I had in em.

2. Taekyon (Has a God approved title there that pissed just about every other guilds' leaders off)
