Another fun day in Lusternia

Back to Common Grounds.

So Narsrim goes to Angkrag and attacks stuff, leaves when I arrive without fighting me and goes to Dairuchi, leaves when people arrive and goes to Angkrag, leaves when I arrive and goes to Dairuchi, leaves when we arrive and goes to Acknor. Who knows how much longer it would have gone on before we got bored of it. I'm just going to have to accept a potion ban I think.

And yes, this is another complaint thread about spores. Anyone who thinks it's balanced is an idiot.
Nementh2005-02-08 06:27:32
did the idea ever hit you to keep people at both?
Unknown2005-02-08 06:28:16
You mean all four of our villages? That's my idea of fun, standing guard in a village for hours. It's not like we can kill him even if we managed to get into the room with him.
Richter2005-02-08 06:46:41
Things are supposed to be equal? *boggle*
Nementh2005-02-08 06:50:18
What I really love is everyone is crying how over powered Moondancers are because Tuek and Narsrim go around killing, or escaping death. How many other Moondancers are that competent?

'And so people cry, oh what pitiful stuff.'
Yrael2005-02-08 06:53:14
Catch Narsrim and Tuek, then fill their nostrils with molten steel?

No, no, no, we're trying to stop SPORES, which means you can't ever, ever, ever catch them. It's against the rules. Didn't you get that memo?
Narsrim2005-02-08 07:01:23
I could have -easily- burrowed away or teleported nexus in ALL the situations where I raided. However, I was feeling frisky and love to torment others so I'd let them sneak close to me and hide in my dryad tree only to see them weep that they could not knock me down. When it old, I'd leave. I sincerely wish I could ditch Wicca for Tarot at times because if I ever had hermit (no power cost) and catacombs... I'd be able to raid all your villages back-to-back-to-back instead of having to hike my butt there. If you think spores are a "problem"... maybe I should create a Celestine alt and show you true evil with Trueheal, Hermit, and Catacombs!

EDIT: But just to clear the air that I am not the nastiest person in Lusternia, I kept a log of Jelaludin saying somethin to me

- Marina has been slain by the might of Trooper Jelaludin.

- You tell Trooper Jelaludin, "Killing random people because you cannot kill me?"

- Jelaludin tells you, "Yup."

- Suhnaye has been slain by the might of Trooper Jelaludin.

And people try to imply that I'm a PK problem. At least I can come up with better reason than "Narsrim is too fast for me so I'll slay innocent people who weren't involved"
Unknown2005-02-08 07:04:13
Please do make a celestian alt and stop using spores =b
Dumihru2005-02-08 07:10:12
Heh, this reminds me of when Daevos was raiding Celest's villages. Only Magnagora has more to defend. I guess there are pluses and minuses to that wink.gif

Edit: And hermit and catacombs (hermit especially) make raiding dwarves incredibly easy. Narsrim should know. He used to do it with Hermit all the time biggrin.gif

Ah, my ex-Nihilist days... when raiding was so much -easier-

Ohhhh. Hmm. I'll wear a Merloch costume. I'll just tell them its to remove any lingering taint from them. Yes indeed.

I'm going to take a wild guess here and say you quit after the lichdom, ghost and catacombs downgrades to find greener and less nerfed pastures to do this kind of thing.

Guild Novice Score Member Score Vote Rating

Moondancers 25 158 17
Serenguard 11 100 9

Serenwilde's guilds total membership score: 403.

Celest + Magnagora's total membership score: 313.

It's officially, over 50% of the game now is Serenwilde. I guess they're the ones who aren't quiting, but does that have any relation to why others are?
Thorgal2005-02-08 08:31:43
No advantages, Lord Auseklis? Strange, topguilds says different.
Unknown2005-02-08 08:46:14
Nah, Narsrim quit way before the downgrades.. I think. I could be wrong though.
Daganev2005-02-08 09:36:54
Narsrim quit when Visaries was still in Magnagora, I remember them yelling at eachother, so I don't think thats the reason Narsrim left the nihilists. He has stated time and time again that he left because of Brona and co.

Necromancy was only downgraded because of Daevos and Valek when people whined about them using thier skills. Its the common state of events.
Shiri2005-02-08 13:04:22
Jello, the reasons for people joining Serenwilde are not skills. For one thing it was like that from the start when only those from closed BETA knew what the skills DID, let alone which were better. Then there's the people expecting a forestal monopoly (don't start) like in other IRE games and an easy life from it. Then there's the people who just always go with the foresty side to be Legolas and whatever. (Or just like elves. I mean, elfen. Whatev.) If you actually look at the population of Serenwilde, a startlingly low proportion of the people compared to, say, Magnagora, actually know their skills to any reasonable degree, and even less of those actually DO anything with them - quite a lot of the rest are just moochers, snugglies (they've gotten better now mind) or people who just tagged along for the "neutral forestal" ride.
It's not about skills.
Unknown2005-02-08 13:09:19
Heh. I picked Serenwilde for the background story.
Shiri2005-02-08 13:18:06
...or that. But most people read the histories AFTER pickin' sides. whistling.gif
