I always check out the main page to see who's at the forums, and there is a Googlebot, but it's not linked to a player profile. What is that?

Googlebot, I assume is Google's way of adding forum's internal post to its search engine's keyword cache

Yeah, Googlebot is the thing that crawls across the entire web, extracting information from all the sites so that people can search for them on Google, though i spect most of you know that. There's more information somewhere on google.com, as well as ways how to block it.
