I thought some of you would like this thing. It's called the Internet Oracle, and basically, you send in a question to a database, and then you're given a question someone else asked to answer as the Oracle. Eventually, you'll get an answer back to your own question. The best get selected by the administrators of the whole thing and put up in a bi-weekly-or-so digest. It's really funny a lot of the time, and thrives on original humor.

If that didn't make any sense, the site does a pretty good job of explaining itself. Anyway, the address is:

http://cgi.cs.indiana.edu/~oracle/index.cgi

And yes, it's also where my signature is from.

How much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood?

A wood chuck would chuck as much wood as a wood chuck could chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood.

you'll know what I mean if you read all th articles, I think that site is absolutely hilarious.

EDIT: Edited because of all you nitpickers....picking on my 4 am spelling -mutter-

It's really hilarious, and it's fun to try to get into the digests. I've gotten in once... if any of you get in, say so!

And yes, doom to the woodchuck question...

They just haven't updated the site itself because there's nothing on it to update. New digests get put out about every two weeks, though. It's still going.

WOOT! I got into another digest!

My Answer

Mine's the answer there. If you don't get it, MIME format is a format that sometimes stuff that gets sent to the Oracle is sent in, and the Oracle's mail-reader can't understand it, so it gets all messed up. For an example, look at the question for #5 in the digest.
