So, I work at an insurance company. I see all kinds of names all day long.

Today there was a Mr. Roark, and a Dr. Richter.

I found that amusing. Especially since the first name for the Dr. didn't show, so there was this big Richter in the middle of my page, right after I was reading the forums.

That is amusing. Not quite the same, but still, on a doctor's place near where I live there is a plaque with the names of the doctors. On it in big, proud letters is:

'Dr S. Hussein'

wow, i never knew roark was a real name... go fig.

We had a state election today, so for the past few weeks my politics teacher's been collecting posters and things from the various parties and candidates and posting them up on the walls of the room. One of the candidates, with a big poster proclaiming his name so I see it every time I walk into the room, is a "Dave Vos", which certainly made me do a double take the first couple of times I saw it...

Not quite the same thing, but there's a clothes shop called "Guido" that I drive past on my way to College..

I student taught at a school once, and there was a kid with the last name of Roark.

I have a friend who has the first part of her last name as Roark.
