Everysince I began bashing Astral, I have been to all of the spheres, minus capicorn (Mean Mags) Anyways, the plane is much more twisted then others in existance. I know the power of Kethuru, caused this but not alot of information has been found out about the plane. I was wondering if someone could help with this research, and why the spheres were named after the Zodiac.

I'd assume that constellations do exist on Lusternia (as evident by some of the nighttime images that are portrayed by the Gods), but I don't think that they have any names so I don't think that the spheres on Astral have anything to do with them.
Perhaps the Creators just had some creative blocks?

There's a fine line between "stealing" and "being inspired by". Lots of Lusternia is influenced by real-world mythology. The purgatives are derived from medieval medical theory dating back to ancient Greece. The runes are Scandinavian runes and even have meanings that sort of match. Lots of bits of the spirituality of Serenwilde and its guilds are derived from real-world myth (Celtic and neo-pagan, mostly, but with bits of other things thrown in); I assume that things in the cities can also be traced to similar roots. Some of the honors quest puzzles are of a format well-known to puzzle fans and readers of Games magazine.

Fate appears to be an interesting aspect to the game. Unlike imperian where they have quite anti-fate quotes.
The zodiac fits in with that theme I think.
The only thing in the game that I know of that is NOT taken from somewhere else is the names of Vernal gods and names from history, and thus Ur'guard and such. But the concept is taken. It makes the world both familiar and unique. Even though it does cause some philosphy problems like in the "magnagora is the new celest" thread, which has nothing to do with that now.
