Iron Realms Entertainment, announced today that its fourth MMORPG, Lusternia: Age of Ascension is in full release, having recently completed a 6-week open beta. Lusternia, employing the Rapture engine that powers all Iron Realms games, is an original high-fantasy world with a strong focus on planar travel in a roleplay-encouraged environment full of customizable player-run governments, adventuring areas, over 600 quests, and a PvP combat system with over 700 abilities and spells.
"We think we've created a world that will appeal to both hardcore players and those wishing for a softer, but very rich, experience," said Lusternia's producer, R.M. French. "On the other hand, it's not for everyone. If someone is looking to just mindlessly kill monsters for the next 2 years, this is not the game for them."
Said Matt Mihaly, Iron Realms' CEO, "I'm enormously proud of what the Lusternia team has accomplished. They took the reins and ran with them, producing a fantastic text MMO."
Player reaction during the closed and open betas has been enthusiastic.
"I love Lusternia and plan to name my next child after it," said one player who wishes to remain anonymous, for fear of marital retribution.
