I forgot to put up lichdom because Im a dummy and got killed alone by Narsrim Ethelon and Tuek. Should I curse them or should I not curse them. For those of you who do not know Ixion IC, I will say that he is generally known for upholding a standard of honor and have never used avenger nor curses previsouly.

So what are your thoughts.. I got a one sided response from my city, but would like to hear other opinions.

Nah cursing is lame, even if it is Narsrim.. If you are tho Ethelon only for sure.

I'm a bit biased, considering I refuse to ever use curses. So I voted none. But if you WANTED, there's no problem with it! I know they (or at least one) have cursed people, so have at them.

Ah, the advantages of being a champion, always having lots of karma at your disposal. I'll be cursed, play around with it for a bit, see how really bad they are, then remove it at my leisure. Though, chances are, you'll hit one of my blessings instead of actually cursing me.

I'm just curious as to what it's like, but in all honesty, I've realized cursing a Champion is a fruitless tactic. One, they don't lose any karma when killing other people. Two, they gain 15% for killing someone in enemy territory, like when Stangmar teleported to me in the middle of Serenwilde. So if they even hunt half as much as I do, they'll always have enough karma to remove it.

I haven't cursed anyone yet, since I haven't been suspected to anyone yet. I would not curse someone for something that was legimate reason to kill me. However, if someone by chance killed me, that I felt actually deserved to be cursed (Yrael, Stangmar, etc.) then I would have no qualms about cursing them, and then going and beating them down afterwards. Though, I don't forsee someone like Yrael or Stangmar ever actually killing me outside of enemy territory, where I would actually gain suspect.

That's true Tuek, I had 1-2 blessings at almost all times as champ, even when I didnt hunt

Eh, if you don't use avenger don't use curses either. Especially if you happen to be one of those folks that disliked Karma curses. By what I've read/heard/seen, you've got fame of being a tough fighter, tough it out. Go beat up on Ethelon/Narsrim/Tuek, if you can.

They don't deserve it entirely. Or at least, Tuek doesn't. Haven't met much of Ethelon, but geez, Ceres, you're definately letting personal bias get in the way there...

mmmm...well lets look at it this way. Narsrim and Tuek are both ickies who come on astral and take all my prey anyway, which tells me their karma is as high as mine, thus your just waisting your own Karma to curse them. Ethelon has begun to hunt astral alot also, making him a ickie *kills the ickies* also..theirfore...you can curse them if you like, but I do not forsee you doing anything more then annoying them as if it dosen't just bounce off a blessing, it will be removed very shortly after..no no. I say you use that karma to bless yourself with something nice, then go and hunt them down 1 by 1. but I like Tuek...so be gentle with him.

Let us look under the light of Natural Law ethics. By killing me in the "bully" capacity, it is -permissible- (as opposed to forbidden and mandatory) to curse them under forfeiture.

Or perhaps you would like to look through the lens of utilitarianism- in which it's still permissible without any compromise to morals or character.

Ceres takes alot of things personal, both OOC and then she takes it IC, so it's expected she would bring it here to the forums also. Just ignore it like the rest of us do.

It was a group fight, you had like 5 others down the path Ixion, so I wonder why the 7 of you didn't come after us and only you and Silvanus did. If we had jumped you for no reason, then I'd understand being cursed, but when it's groups chasing eachother around and you know you will be fighting, just because you lost there is no reason to use curse or avenger.
