Two Guardians and one Wiccan to be precise. And shocking? I'd say three damage knights would do better, with an instant damage kill when all three strike one target at a time using crush/lunge. It was mainly the fact that they were bashing and had surge up. Marcalo died to a Bull, Murphy liched to Amaru, and then died to a bull, etc.

And they all attacked different targets.

Well, of course any outcome will come out like that when the knights are all targetting different people and the three guardians are targetting a single one. If all three knights had Targetted a single guardian they may have taken him out or forced the group apart.
