i think there should be a ability that undersecs, administrators, champions, and the guild leader, should get that allows them to summon guild novice's from anywhere on plane. cause i have noticed novii walking into statues and what not and people not being able to help them cause of the statue. i think this ability would be REALLY good for everyone, let me know what you think

Yeah, this would be great. Novices that wander outside the Magnagoran tradeshop, novices that walk into mistuned totems, novices that walk into anti-city aggro statues in villages.

It's very not good. Something protectors and security should be able to do, in my opinion.

I think it's a good idea but only if it is monitored so it doesn't get abused. Should go past monoliths, city protections, moving and whatever else stops summoning.

It sucks to walk into a room and die when you have no idea what's going on, but it really isn't too different from strong aggro denizens who kill you the second you walk in, or deathtraps where novices walk into plenty on other muds.

Yeah, we treat the novices so much better here

Seeing a novice summoned into a statue outside Celest, get feared in, then have us unable to summon them when they can't cure ANYTHING because of city defenses is stupid. Leaving alone the fact that this tactic (and really, everyone knows who I'm talking about) is deplorable and should be a source of embarrassment for Celest...

To keep on topic, the novice summon idea seems great...but the potential for abuse would probably ruin it.

The fact that I am mentally unstable myself means that everytime Ialie scares someone I chuckle.
