Shiro stretches his arms out to either side and drops his head back with his
eyes closed. A blinding white light strikes him on the forehead and travels to
his feet, lifting him off the ground. As he slowly turns, all his wounds heal
and a blazing aura pulsates around him.

I'm guessing you can estimate about how long that took from the log. I used it on Revan later, he said it lasted a split second. The description is a lie. They might reel back a bit, but they aren't stunned. Honestly, it's not even useful it TEAM combat.

Any suggestions?

Actually, I was stunned for awhile.. then I left as fast as I could. If I stayed for another second, I would of died from Daevos tongue.gif

edit: No, I got blackout from that.. that is while I smiled.
Rakor2005-03-16 00:24:50
A while? It happened almost instantly, Shiro. That isn't a while.

Also, last I checked, headslam doesn't cause blackout.
Unknown2005-03-16 00:38:55
I just tested headslam a bit ago, it stuns for the same length of time as shieldstun, as far as I can tell, it might be a bit longer.
Rakor2005-03-16 00:41:40
Okay, that's really strange. Neither of mine last nearly that long - that would make it useful. Maybe it's a bit random, I'll test it out.
Unknown2005-03-16 00:42:21
I believe it may be based on a ratio of your size versus your targets size.
Shryke2005-03-16 04:33:10
oooh igashen stun. so seksay... what skillset is that in?

Everyone knows headslam is useless. I've had it last anywhere from 0.1 to 0.3 seconds, for a 3-4 second balance.
Unknown2005-03-16 09:42:47
No, headslam is identical in stun length to shieldstun, when Malicia tested it on me. If you are getting that short of a stun (which I know is probably false, just a number that you made up) then it is probably based on a size to size ratio (and you were a faeling using it on a Tae'Dae.
celahir2005-03-16 10:37:35
Better is to tackle or barge them into a room you or someone else is blocking. Then they get stunned and with barge they get damaged.
Shiri2005-03-16 15:53:56
*hurts brain trying to imagine the first of Celahir's scenarios*

I got nailed quite long with a headslam, as a Furrikin.

Unless that was just JAVA lag. dry.gif
Malicia2005-03-16 16:14:55
Headslam is worthless. The stun time is about the same, but it takes balance. I can shieldstun AND strike.
Shiri2005-03-16 16:30:08
Hartstone can't, though, can they?
Ceres2005-03-16 16:39:51
Hartstone don't get headslam
Ceres2005-03-16 16:42:11
Lamorak slams his forehead into your skull, the shock of which stuns you and
makes stars dance before your eyes.

2448h, 3107m, 3060e, 10p ex---/16:41:41.967/

0.875 second stun.
Shiri2005-03-16 16:45:20
That would be because I'm thinking of headbutt, which is totally different.

*cough* Sorry.
Gwylifar2005-03-16 18:33:35
Based on my own experiments I'd guess a pair of aslaran on T1 lines with perfect triggers could keep someone stunlocked with headslam if nothing went wrong. Three could probably do it realistically.

Of course, those three aslaran could probably also be killing you far more effectively during that same time by doing, say, anything else at all.
Amaru2005-03-16 18:51:37
Connection doesn't really affect it. If you spam an attack while you're off balance, it'll go through as quick as it can in most circumstances.
Gwylifar2005-03-16 19:17:45
Says you. My dialup line begs to differ.
Amaru2005-03-16 19:21:51
How? If you spam your attack 100 times roughly 4 seconds before you get balance, and your connection has a 4 second lag, it'll still go through as fast as it possibly can.
