We've killed geb three times on nil, where he's enemied, and he hasn't gone down in rank at all. Isn't he supposed to lose more experience if he dies where he's enemied? Does it have something to do with conglutinate, is he using his cubix to move around as a soul or what?

Conglutinate lowers experience cost by a large amount.

I would still think he would go down by at least 1 rank for three deaths...

There was probably a large gap between the next closest person. Once you start getting up higher, there is like 60% difference in experience between you and the next person at times.

More or less, it depends on the level. Sometimes there's big gaps, then a bunch of people all bunched up.

I only lose about 3-4% per conglutinate. He's not going to lose much from that (it's way the admins get us to PK in the planes)

One death was a vitae, and the other two were conglutinate. It normally takes me a full level just to move up one point in the rankings; about the same loss is required for me to go down a rank or two.

All I can say then is, I need conglutinate ninja.gif
Fareneth2005-03-24 18:16:24
Well, shave my tail and call me daft, but what exactly is conglutinate? (and what is it in, more importantly)
Manjanaia2005-03-24 19:03:52
Planar. Makes you reappear at nexus when you die off-plane (I think.)
Shiri2005-03-24 20:20:30
Trans planar, yes, when you die off-plane you lose all the power you currently have and return to your nexus at a reduced experience loss. (Or, presumably, the Portal of Fate for rogues.)
