Manse Bar 400cr

Creates a miniature of a counter, and your room now has the WARES command. This is your store, although it is essentially an npc store. It is always stocked with ale, wine, shots, etc, but you don't get the gold made from it.

I believe aetolia had this as a house option. Can we have 'em here?

They also had one with food options, you could pick six foods and it would sell those. The trouble I see, though, is that chefs would feel slighted - why buy from a chef when you could buy from your own house? Especially if the other trade skills didn't have a direct counter like that.

I agree with Lyren, in a world with a player run economy, I think this is a bad idea. Better idea, buy a store and get cooks to stock you with food and drink, and then MAKE MONEY. You're the master merchant, do it the smart and crafty way! Don't just buy your way out of effort! tongue.gif

I like the idea... but is the fact that ale, wines and spirits are part of a cooks trade going to be an issue?

I know I'd be slightly annoyed if there was a manse minature shop that sold limitless amounts of reasonably priced rings, necklaces and bracelets, and I remember the reaction to Rowena selling alchemy.

Edit: And yes, as Olan and Lyren just said. *cough*

Maybe not a limitless. Stock it a set amount (like, 5?) of each per RL day?

It would only be alcholic drinks. I didn't say food, did I?

Do drinks make you more full? What happens if you drink a lot of them? Oh yeah, bad stuff!

That's why a manse bar is ok. Now shush, your arguments don't make sense.

And heck, I wanted a second auto-store/bar for RP in The World's End. I don't care about the gold, I just want drinks in my bar.

I think this idea has merits, though the Cooks do bring up a good point. Perhaps if it were extremely basic and tasteless forms of alcohol, that do little more then get you drunk. tongue.gif

The cooks could always sell the finer wines.

Richter, there's a reason this is meant to be a player run Economy. Bar = No. doh.gif Drinks are hard enough to sell as it is if you dont have a shop, though i never had trouble with the Inn.. Shops rule! laugh.gif If your gonna make a Bar make it stockable only with Drinks and such, or have it certain bins, Like Ales, Wines, Spirits, and maybe some Pastries, dont ask why.

What we really need is Tea in Cooking even though i dont have it anymore, Tea rocks! And Maybe some other non alcoholic drinks.

Nah, my idea is awesome.
