Seems awefully easy to pull off...and to think crucify and sacrifice is the counterpart of inquisition. Good job on the pwnage though.

And Tuek, why won't you just stop complaining, if the divine think Lichdom needs changes, it'll get changed, otherwise, live with it... shut up about it untill after the envoy reports got submitted.

I agree, inquisition does seem easy. Escaping with Lichdom however, is far easier.

If I add aditional information, as in another paragraph or such, I put in EDIT, however if I change the wording without changing the meaning, I don't. Anyway, that was the shortest duel I have ever seen when I was standing there.

The reason I was able to pull off Inquisition is that he thought he could kill me with damage before I could finish it.

He could have ghosted, tumbled, walked out, shieldwhored, shieldstunned, webbed..

It was still fun

Shieldwhoring doesn't work, since raze balance is much to short to slow you down from pulling off infidel/inquisition, but I guess webbing and shieldstunning could have worked.

It's two 2 second windows.

My raze balance is over 2 seconds.

The reason lich is the most valid complaint about Lusternia is how it affects OVERALL gameplay. Magnagora can do whatever the hell they want, and never suffer for it. They don't have to go through the frustration we all go through in seeing our experience drop again and again. It has a far more tangible effect than you'd ever realise on the state of Lusternia.

Wake up, in IRE you're supposed to lose experience when you die. That's the only reason you are such a high level, lich, so you have no right to complain about losing some of it.

Lich (or its equivalent Soulcage) has been nerfed from every single IRE game I believe, why? Because it's way too good. There is something wrong about not dying or losing any experience 4 or 5 times, let alone as long as you have the reserve to put up lichseed. Many people with overpowered abilities can be objective and tell when abilities are way too good, Geb for example won't use dilute or just pure blackout, Narsrim doesn't always force empty vials, and some BC don't just go around randomly shieldsmashing for the hell of things. Yet when you look at Lichdom, not a single Necromancer that has it can even begin to comprehend the level of unbalance it brings to the game and constantly claim it has been nerfed enough. If you have never fought against people with Ghost or Lichdom, you don't know how frustrating it is.

I dont mind losing XP, despite popular belief. I do mind losing 30% at a time, that equates to about 4-5 of your levels Amaru. I do blame myself for not taking the combat off plane so I could conlutinate, though. Also, do you have any freaking CLUE how much I hunt on astral, especially before I became GM? I doubt it.

Wrong. If lich for some odd reason gets nerfed, I'd just have to be a tad more careful, and I wouldnt lose much more xp at all.

And I trapped a lot of them with eye sigils, or just guessing where their soul runs to, and finishing the job when they reform.

People don't even bother TRYING to use eye sigils, yet they bitch and moan it's not a valid argument. It doesn't take balance to move, it doesn't take balance to drop something. Stop complaining about something you never even tried, you can seal off a room with eye sigils within half a second...

If there wouldn't be any counter to lichdom, fine, argument made.

But there bloody are counters to it, and those counters don't cost you anything, not even balance or equilibrium.

Hell, Amaru even goes so far to sealing off a room with eye sigils when OTHER people are dueling.
