Attunement
Syntax: ATTUNE FOREST/ATTUNE OFF
By calming your mind and attuning yourself to the natural world, you will cease to disturb the surrounding forest in any way, becoming essentially invisible to it. This will prevent Druids and Wiccans from establishing your location in the ethereal currents and hence they will be unable to flow to you.
It would drain ~100 mana every 5 seconds while it is active, and prevent flowing. The fae have a greater sense of ethereal magics, so Moondancers can still wisp. Attempting to flow to someone with it on would take equilibrium for a short moment and give a message about how they cannot be sensed in forest.
I don't think it should hide them from demesne watch or have any other effect.

I'd say extend the 5 second to maybe 8-10 seconds, like most mana draining things.

I think it should. Why have an ability just targetting one group? It'd be useless to me, having transcendent environment. Having it make you invisible to demesne watch would be quite useful.
Edit: 200 mana every 8-10 seconds.
Another Edit: Even with my issue with the above statement, I still don't like this ability.

Would the message it gives when I try to flow to someone who is in the forest with this on be different than the message when I try to flow to someone outside the forest?

Hmm, well, if its able to hide from demesne watch I'd suggest making it either a power ability, or have a very steep mana drain so it can't be used indefinitely even with mana regen. That is -very- powerful.
Also, if you run out of mana while in a demesne it would have to give the demesne entry message, and activating it would give the demesne exit message.
I guess you could ATTUNE EARTH and ATTUNE OCEAN (ocean, sea?) as well in that case.
It just seems a little too powerful for my liking.

And demesne summon should be blocked by monoliths and local area only.

Demesne summon should be anywhere in demesne, not in local area only. It should bes topped like monoliths, and take one power. Yes, I've already said this. And sorry for my bad typing, I'm eating.

I think if this was limited to stopping flow only, it would still be a useful ability for those outside the communes. I mean, chop isn't useful to us either but it is still a good skill for environment.
Interfering with demesnes brings up a whole host of additional balance issues. Instead, make it so that while attuned, you can use tree totem in normal forest! Muahaha! Or so that you can flow to people on the Ethereal plane, maybe.

How about Attune prevents FLOW/Teleport, and has an increase chance of preventing summoning? This way it would be more global than merely concentrating on forestals...

Teleport doesn't have anything to do with the terrain, though. Nor is it a problem in determining balance, since it isn't instant. The same is true of most summoning.
