The thread's title explains all. I am not going to give any names, but you can PM me if you really want to.
Basically, we have six types of idiots in Lusternia:
I. The Snugglebunny
You know them too good. They were a plague in Achaea and Aetolia, and migrated into Lusternia as well. Use snuggle, romp, lick, cuddle, hug, giggle and titter emotes instead of dots or exclamation marks. Complete pacifists when dealing with other players (read: sucks at PK), when it gets to bashing, the snugglebunny is either also completely inept, or, surprisingly, a mass-killer. However, they'd never hurt a sheep or a cow, and go 'awww' each time they see one tripped over. They treat novices like retarded 8-year olds, possibly turning off good RP-ers from Lusternia. Unfortunately, such an approach is treated by the ego-balloons (see below) as a helpful one, so the snugglebunnies tend to get favoured because of so-called 'helping the novices'. Yeah, right.
II. The Ego-balloon
90% of guild and city officials in Achaea were like that - fortunately, it isn't as horrible in Lusternia, but we still have too many of them. They treat the novices and lesser-ranked guild members exactly like snugglebunnies, with one difference: they want their wishes to be followed (even absurd ones, like 'Now you should bash 200 rats to get gold and experience'). Also, most of them have bad sense of humour and expect others to laugh at their jokes (truffles still visit me in my nightmares - the whole Magi guild in Achaea should be exterminated). Disagree with them once and make a life-long, most hated enemy. Brown-nose them and laugh at their so-called jokes and your guild rank will raise like a rocket. Most of the time they hide their true nature using a snugglebunny mask.
III. The Everquest Basher
Such people spend all of their time on the astral plane, grinding the nodes over and over. Despite having high levels, they suck at PK almost as much as snugglebunnies - possibly because all of their brains' creativity has been melted by hours of endless, repetetive bashing. They wouldn't want to risk losing their 'precious exp' anyway, so they're no use if an enemy is raiding your village or city. They can be quite friendly if they're looking for a person to share a sphere with - so more mitrans/lobstrosities would pop out with each link. Except for levels, they care for hardly anything - if you have one of them as a guild admin/master/anything else (happens surprisingly often), expect a cataclysm.
IV. The leet-RPer
Idiots like these think it would be very cool to roleplay an eccentric person, which unfortunately ends up in creating total morons. Most of the time, they tell others about their horrible backstories (like being raised by a herd of sheep), or perform impossible actions on city aetherwaves. Often have an annoying and hard to understand accent. Their abilities to piss off other people are almost legendary, due to their absolute lack of self-criticism and a tendency to practice their horrible RP during the most horrible and depressing situations - like when their home city is on flames, literally. Such people are Snugglebunnies most of the times as well. Luckily, their RP points seem to dwindle on a much higher rate then on other people - I wonder why...
V. The Thick Thug
They believe that simple being a citizen of an opposing city is enough a cause to be destroyed - most of the time, without exceptions. Not many of them lately, because of the karma system, but we had a fair share of them in the past. The Thugs consider their actions to be good RP, and sulk when others call them 'griefers'. Not surprisingly, they are good at PKing, though often enhanced by thousands of dollar-bought credits. With the current situation being as it is, they aren't such a bad kind of an idiot - especially when compared to others, for example...
VI. The Horrible Person
As the name suggests, the Horrible Person has horrible graphical skills. Not that his writing skills are any better. He's propably from some kind of an european backwater country, which explains his funny grammatic errors. Such people tend to remain annonymous in the forums, possibly because they are afraid of other players' in-game wrath.

Umm... Munsia is every single one, except for the Everquest basher.
Shiri2005-03-31 20:57:25
That's just too funny. How long did that take you, Cuber? And are you using MS paint with a 3cm-cord mouse, there?
Unknown2005-03-31 20:58:55
The graphics - around 10 mins.
The text - about 15 mins.
Yes, it's done in MS paint. But the mouse's cord isn't 3 centimetres long, I'm simply a Horr... ah, I forgot - not to mention any names.

I'm none of those, yay!
Some people would say the ego guy, but I treat novices with respect, and am generally nicer to them than anyone else.

You can't be the ego guy because you're not in a position of power in a guild/city/commune. That's the only reason.

Ask Shiri to edit it.
He's frighteningly good at it, remember?

Shiri. Correct Erion's post so it's of an acceptable mocking standard
Shiri2005-03-31 21:33:27

Soll2005-03-31 21:36:18

Erion2005-03-31 21:36:51

Richter2005-03-31 21:38:04
Uh. I'm nice to novices. I give them free crap, and accept thier attempts to RP with me. I rather like novices *pet novices*
And Erion, if you're going to copy/paste you laughing manically, for no reason, you might as well do it -well-.

The Divine Gamer
The type of player everyone hates, but follows, because they believe an event is just around the corner when they're with them. They talk with mobs, chat with divine, and even make stuff up to pump up thier l337-ness. They make awful attempts at RP, and are generally complete idiots. Being inept in every way, they of course, are leaders in nearly every IRE game. Beware of these people, headaches abound if you befriend one of these fools.
Edit: I made a pic, but I don't have space for it. When I made it smaller, the file got bigger. Go figure.
It showed a stick figure with a divine light shining down on him, he's on a podium, fist raised up, and a smaller guy is next to him, leeching off the glory, with a frown on his face.

Yes, but at least they don't have an ego.

Richter, next time you go for the self-description, you shouldn't throw in bits of false information.
Richter2005-03-31 22:35:18
Funny, everyone but you knew I wasn't referring to myself.
