I'm just interested in getting some of the worlds that are stuck in my head out of there and somewhere that others can see them, and was wondering if there are any kind of map creation software out there (I don't mean as in the rooms, links and such. I mean like the illustrated map of Lusternia)
I thought about using the Civilization III map editor, but you can only really make things in grids there, and you can't show off what you really want it to look like. Also, there's no zoom on it, so you can't very well take a screen shot of it.
So, anyone have any ideas? Or am I doomed to try my hand at Paint Shop Pro? (I can't draw worth a damn, free hand or with a computer)

zMapper is very good for that sort of thing, its what I use for all my roleplaying world maps and such, you can get some awesome results.
